My dream speech of Powell'sAre you finished? Are all of you finished bloviating and kissing each other's johnson? Good. Game over. The store is closed. Everybody out of the pool. If you aren't out of Baghdad by Sunday at 6p ET, we ain't responsible for what happens to ya. I'm gone.Oh, and by the way, when I come back next, we'll be talking about you overstaying your welcome here in our country. You all have a nice weekend...
...as he gets up to walk out.

Powell is the 4th speaker after the two moron inspectors! Thanks for the clarification.

What ticks me is that none of these guys address just how viable it is for 250,000 troops to sit in theater for months to exact pressure on Saddam to continue to offer up some minimal semblance of cooperation (which semblance has yet to allow any unattended and recorded interviews). These people don't care if the troops are there and truly don't care if Saddam feels any pressure to cooperate. They want this (the U.S.) to go away and let them cut oil and whatever other deals with Saddam.
This really has the potential of going FUBAR on us, because the scope of the effort being made by the U.S. in this venue is such that we can't be sure that the Administration thinks that it can hold American public opinion behind an attack without the U.N.'s blessing (or at least quiet acquiescence).
The French and others will be sure to get the American Left in a frenzy over Bush going without U.N. approval. And something here just tells me that Bush is very concerned about carrying forward with the active opposition of the American Left and the ignorance of the mushy American middle (which still supports the U.N. because it's just easy to do so).

Game is who will offer the most to the highest bidder. These countries want to know what they will get if they stand with us or with Saddam, so says analyst on foxnews.

The only good think I can see out of going to this bunch of clowns called the security council is so that we can show them for what they are. Go to war without them, and let it be the end of the UN.
If we go to war without UN approval, I will call the whitehouse and make sure they know not to have anything to do with the UN ever again.

YEs, But a NON Opec Iraq, would be poised to Flourish Economically, and skew thier plans.
Instituing a gov't hostile to the French, would seriously Hamper that effort.

Is this the same summit that saw the Libyans insult the Saudis and the Iraqis call the Kuwatis monkeys? Yeah, sure, I am really feeling scared of what THEY think!

Blix never did answer the question the President asked according to Bill Sammon (who is one of my favorites) -- is Saddam complying with 1441? The answer by Blix was no answer!

if Carlos the Jackal's buddy Joschka Fischer says Iraq is in compliance,It's worse. He acknowledges Iraq is NOT in compliance, but thinks that pressure from countries for them to cough up what they're hiding, and by increasing inspections, eventual disarmament can be achieved.
So far no acknowledgement that Iraq continues to create weapons. The UN is maintaining the fiction that it is a matter of unearthing whatever they're hiding. (Yes, they know Iraq is hiding stuff--they want to play scavenger hunt some more)

Considering that the Axes of Weasels and Evil have fully-aligned goals, lump them all together into the Axis of Weavil.
