As Steveyp stated earlier, Bush is buying time. We need to have our personnel and armaments in place. We will act by our timetable, not by the U.N.'s timetable.

Please provide a translator, because I do not understand what you've written here. All I know is that the N Koreans are explictly, openly threatening to wage war on us. But Bush says it's OK to respond with containment. Fine - - then the same response makes sense with Iraq - if it doesn't, I'd like an explanation why, not a cryptic undecipherable comment such as above.

The only disappointment I have tonite is that some Freepers are acting like dems,,,this is for the world, not some posturing drama moment ,,,this is his last word before starting the war. The man is hounded beyond belief, subject to horrid smears, tolerates fools daily,,,he doesn't disappoint me a bit. He is the real thing, a quiet man, a sober man, an endlessly patient man. Better than most men I have known. We are so lucky. So quit bitching.

I have to agree with others. Something is "off" with him.

You are looking at a dead serious man. A man about to send young men and women into harms way.

This isn't a "for the children" political moment, it's a life and death moment.
