Close your eyes and imagine for a moment Owl Gore doing this press conference...
God Bless GW!

He sounds resolved and very serious.

Blair told Parliament last week he would not go to war without going back to Parliament. Do you have a ref for this? I listen pretty consistently to the BBC and they've been saying just the opposite, that Blair will not go for another vote. Of course, he said he would "inform" Parliament....

Let's all try to remember that the vast majority of people in this country don't know as much about this as we do. This speech isn't to us; it's to them. This speech is also not only directed at the sheeple -- it is being watched worldwide. Especially on the eve of the UN Security council meeting.
(I know you know this... :) -- included for the benefit of others.)

Bush: "MY JOB IS TO PROTECT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE"
WHOOOOO!!!

He's going to be making a decision to send our armed forces into danger. Some of those armed forces may well die. Do you want that responsibility? I sure don't. That's why I trust his judgment to make the right decision. I sure didn't trust the guy who came before him.

I am with you.
I give him an A for handling the press so well.
He's consistent in what he says every time you tune in. That's why I voted for him.

I'm sorry but I don't understand the purpose of this conference. He just keeps saying the same things in every answer. America is looking for something to inspire them to back Pres. Bush but he just keeps spouting rehearsed rhetoric.

Who said we don't have to invade NK? We most certainly do not want to do it at the same time. Patience.

How many ways can you say the same sentence?

John King asking the Kennedy question about how personal this is.
Creeps both.
President says his job is to protect and defend the Constitution, not his daddy.
Says saddam is a murderer, has gassed his own country.
Price of doing nothing exceed the price of doing something.

Like Hitler used to do? No. I was thinking more along the lines of Blair's style.

The risk of doing nothing or that saddam changes his mind and becomes a gentle soul.....is not a risk I am not willing to take for the American people....
Now, John King...fixation with saddam hussein (as said by ted kennedy?).....costs, risks....shut up john....
President ....My job is to protect America and that's what I am going to do...and people can describe all kinds of intentions....saddam is a threat....and i've got good evidence to believe that....he's used WMD on his own people, and invaded countries, tortures his own people, murderer....trained and financed Al Quaid and other terrorist organizations...I take the threat seriously....the rest of your 6 point question....
The price of doing nothing exceeds the price of taking action if we have to....!!!!!!!!!!!!
The price of the attacks on America on 9-11 were enormous, significant, and I'm not willing to take that chance again
