Hey, O bright and shining one, I think you missed the POINT. 100,000 AMERICAN civilians...
Besides, the NKs have had (thanks to the UN) 50 years to tunnel and dig themselves in. Tougher nut to crack then the gomers in Iraq. I've served in both places, I fought in one, glad I never had to fight in the other..
You in a hurry to get lots of Americans killed?
Easy to talk about when its not your a$$ on the line....

I knew we wouldn't get through this without hearing a question about Vietnam... sigh. To Lib morons, all wars are the Vietnam war. Except for Haiti, Bosnia and Kosovo, of course. And even though they can thank LBJ for jumping headfirst into Vietnam.

He seems tired and resigned. Damn he sure has a lot on his plate....more than anyone since FDRat arguably....maybe even worse than that given the proportion of the weaponry and the maniacal nature of our foes.
I think he is weary from all the sandbagging from Europe and Turkey.
Seems like we wasted a lot of time and political capital for nothing and I think he realizes that....hell...even Cyrus Powell recognizes that as well.
Unless it's all disinformation.
Lol...Dubya...get ready and get on with it....we don't need any more pep rallies....and no amount of these speeches are gonna move our foes or the hate America crowd or the media.
We are 110% behind you....turn them loose please...show the world that we are indeed a serious nation and that Hollywood is only fantasy.

>>Bob Deans, Cox News: What can you say to Vietnam vets to assure that we won't fall in the same trap in Iraq? <<
Simple answer: Fewer trees.
To: goodnesswins
Democrats have wrung their hands more during the past month over the costs of war on Iraq than they did during the 40+ years of "war on poverty."
pathetic

All I know is that the N Koreans are explictly, openly threatening to wage war on us. But Bush says it's OK to respond with containment. Fine - - then the same response makes sense with Iraq Please explain why the same response that makes sense with NK, also makes sense with Iraq. That is elementary school analysis.
Two different countries, in two different regions, with different weapons, and you say what works for one should work for the other. Don't bother trying to defend that simplistic thinking...you can't.
