The wet Saturday weather didnt stop close to 8,000 people from showing up to Rally for America. We love them and theyre doing a good thing for us and I mean theres a lot of people at home that wouldnt want to go and theyre going there to support us so we will support them, said one person at the rally.
They came from all over Texas and some from as far away as Oklahoma to the Clear Channel Verizon Amphitheater pay tribute to men and women protecting America.

Radio talk show host Glenn Beck says a friend who served in Vietnam inspired him to speak out.
For years this man fought demons and thought that he was a monster and not a hero, says Beck. He tells News 4 WOAI he vowed to do what he could to prevent another American soldier from feeling guilty about killing the enemy to protect our freedom.
There are times where it has to be done whether or not this is the time thats where each individual to decide and if you have a problem, take it up with out Commander in Chief, dont take it out on our troops, said Beck. Americans at the rally says we should take it out on the men who make our world unstable, Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein.
Appreciate the troops because our Uncle Justin is in North Korea, said Brandon Stewart.

If this had been a lefty anti war protest the press would have reported 800,000,000,000 attending.

Goofy weather in Texas sometimes. Rain in San Antonio, but cloudy with no rain in Houston... Go Figure, even the weathermen can't.

I was there and It was great.
I can almost see grandmas' street and smell the bacon.
I felt so proud today... tears ran... my heart was so full I thought it would bust
I said "under God " during the pledge loud and was shocked when everone else did as well and was still proud. We made a strong showing today but there is so much more to do

But I was thinking of the rally also, and worried that the yucky weather would scare away people. BOY WAS I WRONG!!!!!! what a great turnout. thank you so much all of you for going. for your good deeds we need a
