Imagine, a "troubling display" of religion in the halls of state power.

Oh, good grief.

Steve Glassroth of Montgomery, another plaintiff in the Ten Commandments lawsuit, said he doesn't have a problem with Bible studies at the Capitol as long as they are voluntary.

"This is not one of those in-your-face public things," he said.

Its quite telling when one of the people that was involved in the "Ten Commandments lawsuit" has no problem with these classes, but some head of an athiest society does. And when the guy throws out absurd phrases like "christian terrorism", he loses all support for his ridiculous cause.

This is good news. Prayer is needed. Riley has to face a Democratic legislature, and his predicessor was a Democrat.

Hey, long time no see!

"It's a form of Christian terrorism"

Yes, this is true. Satan and his liberal demon-possessed friends are definitely being terrorized.

It's good knowing he can slip into Shelby's Senate seat should Shelby retire. He'd easily win.

If they initiated morning ablutions to the Sun, they would have been hailed as furthering the cause of "multiculturalism."

Yeah, freedom of religon is another one of those quaint notions of the Founding Fathers.

Now if staffers were prevented from promotion or subject to punishment for not participating, I would have a problem with it. But bible studies themselves are so far removed from that it is reprehensible for this moron to scream terorism.

Yep, the governor terrorized me this very morning. I was listening to the radio on my way to work (in Montgomery) and Gov. Riley was on a talk show (Kevin whats-his-name on 1440 AM).

Anyway, some lady called in and said she was running a program for young girls which included prayer and reading the Bible. The governor ENCOURAGED HER TO CONTINUE! I was so terrorized that I have been unable to work all day and Freeped instead. :)
