More Crew to come...

Carnival's cruise ship Triumph docked at St. Thomas.

Ahoy, Freepers!  Why not make your next year's vacation a FREEPER CRUISE? Can't think of a better idea!
United we stand for conservative activism AND some good old-fashioned fun, too!

This cruise thread will be running right up until embarkation day.  It'll be packed with lots of information.
Post your enthusiastic comments here.  Links are provided below for stateroom/fares information, registration form and
the Bahama Mama Q&A thread devoted solely to answers for all your cruise questions and to provide you with smooth sailing.

We strongly urge you to register ASAP.  We need a certain number of registrations by a mid-January cutoff date
to ensure our reserved block of cabins with Carnival.  From many communications we've received since last year's terrific cruise,
we're certain the interest is out there.  We don't want to have to deep-six this event if we don't get enough registrations in a timely manner.
PLEASE NOTE to hold off on making your air tickets reservations until we give you the go-ahead.
We have more than ample lead-time for this cruise and you'll be able to get good air-fare bargains in plenty of time!
Since some air-transportation tickets are non-refundable, we don't want anyone to be left holding the ditty-bag.

As an incentive for early registration, the first 20 Freepers to get their reservations into the travel agency
will win their choice of five (5) sheets of Ocents.com stamp sheets (go to that website for Seeking the Truth's array of terrific stamps!)
They will also receive a usflagballoon.com pin courtesy of Abner (check out Abner's usflagballoon website
to view the colorful pin and some excellent pictures of the US Flag Balloon!)  Registrations will be dated and time-stamped by the agency.
Winners will be notified and they'll receive their gift stamps and pins via mail.

We've got a great contest planned for later.  A lucky winner will receive a FREE cabin for two!
Last year, the contest was won by our Freeper pal, Taxman.  This time it may be you!

Bookmark this thread.  We'll keep you posted as plans evolve.  Register now for this fun-filled getaway in the sun!
Informal FRN meetings will be held on board which will be full of information and idea-sharing for effective conservative activism.

Rock the boat with your fellow Freepers!  Climb aboard today!

This page is for general comments about the cruise.
If you have questions, do not post them here.
Use the Bahama Mama link and ask them there.
Thank you!

Freepers, these past few days, we had a little temporary snafu on our links. It was hard to find this cruise thread.

All has been repaired. You can now just hit the colored cruise ship banner on both the home page and the "latest posts" page and it will take you directly to this thread. Thanks for bearing with us.

Is the cruise perchance named "Norwalk Nights?"

I believe it's fairly obvious from the thread title what the cruise effort has been titled.

Here's some of the great activities and amenities we freepers can enjoy aboard the good ship Triumph:

Fine dining, including gala Midnight Buffets
Casual dining, including 24-hour pizzaria
Captain's Cocktail Party
Captain's Gala Dinner
Complimentary 24-hour stateroom service
Wide range of entertainment, including Las Vegas and Broadway-style shows
Nautical Spa program
Full Casino
Three bands and orchestras
Great supervised activities for crumb-crunchers in their own appropriate age group
Two pools including a childrens' wading pool
Prior briefings on each port of call
Internet Cafe
First-run movies shown daily in theater (with popcorn!)

All this included in your one low fare. Like being in a candy store!

"Oh no, now there are 3 Freepers coming after li'l ol' ME when they stop in Cozumel!"

"Do ya wanna FIGHT? I'll be waiting for you in Cozumel on the Freeper cruise!"

"Welcome back to Wild Kingdom. Next, Jim battles an alligator in the nude, with only a toothpick and a Mai Tai to defend himself ..."

Seats on the charter boat are going fast - Freepmail me for more info if you want to "hook up" with a little fun in Cozumel!

I don't know Nick, you may have found a new way to spark interest in cruise reservations. This ship may be full after all. :0

Just sitting here with dh, fantasizing about going. Are there any more rooms available next to the spa? Should dh deploy, perhaps a babysitter would enjoy a cruise. Lol!

I'd rather have a cabin next to the dining room than the spa, hah hah!

Seriously, many people fear they'll gain weight because of all the incredible meals on a cruise. In actuality, most people stay about the same or even lose a few pounds. This is because you do a lot of walking on these big ships plus you are constantly going from one fun thing to another whether it be to a beach, shopping in port towns or dancing in the disco. Calories are burned up beautifully!

Please, do come if you possibly can. You can get a great cabin for a week for less than the cost of a week's stay in a 2-star motel room in Vegas, and the best part is, your room moves with you! All the food you can eat (you can get stuffed like a goose being prepared for pate' if you want to), opulent surroundings and creature comforts that would have made Caligula blush, and the company of the greatest bunch of galoots (Freepers) on the planet. What's not to like?
