[history]
Two ex-presidents could learn from Eisenhower and the Bay of Pigs.
Two of our former presidents, Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter, have been talking a lot about their views and feelings on Iraq. It would be nice if they took to speaking less and thinking more. They could start with an event in the latter years of Dwight David Eisenhower, a former president who knew how to do the job.

Clinton and Carter will both be destroyed by history. It's little satisfaction now, while we watch their petty behavior, but it's sure going to be fun to watch when the true stories start getting printed.
Liberals won't always own the media. It's slipping away from them already with lower profits and ratings. Journalism students can barely write, and the electronic media is inundated with empty headed faces that fool nobody.

Bravo, Ms. Noonan. Bravo.
Carter and Clinton have proven to the world that they are not now, nor were they ever, leaders. Their recent conduct is shameful.

And what better spokesmen to propagate the Anti-American point of view than our good friends Carter and Clinton? We've all seen how effective their own foreign policy was. Carter's handling of the Iran hostage crisis made us the laughingstock of the world for several years. Clinton presided over the dismantling of our military and intelligence services at a time when Americans were being killed in Saudi Arabia, two embassies in Africa, and aboard the U.S.S. Cole, and plans for 9/11 were years in the making. You tell 'em, guys!

"Clinton and Carter will both be destroyed by history."
In Bill's case, it will most likely be an STD.
HAHA! I thought he was looking sickly lately.
>>>But why did Eisenhower give him such public assistance and support? And why did the others?Because it was another era. It was pre-Vietnam. To make partisan advantage out of an American failure would classless, vulgar and most of all destructive. But it wasn't just the style of the times, it was their style. Ike and the rest showed support because they were fully mature and serious. They knew America was in trouble and they loved their country. So they put aside their own grievances and criticisms, put the country's needs ahead of their own, and showed the world unity.
>>>They were, that is, patriots.
Carter and Clinton aren't patriots. They're anti-American scumbags!

"Carter and Clinton have proven to the world that they are not now, nor were they ever, leaders. Their recent conduct is shameful."
Yes, almost as shameful as their behavior when they were - GAG - president.

Peggy hits another one out of the park.
Carter and Clinton, SHUT UP!
