It turns out that Mud's directions were right-on-the-mark.
As I drove down "A" street, I spotted, on the LEFT, a veritable mob of miscreants & ne'er-do-wells waiting admission outside the local Bijou in anticipation of seeing FatBoy's Bowling For Columbine.
As I progressed onward, to my LEFT was the "C" restaurant.
Just up a little ways, again on the LEFT, was the place, aka "The Annex"...exactly two down from "D" street.
I didn't see the Mudmobile so I took a LEFT on "D" street, then took another LEFT at an alley behind the place, adroitly maneuvering the Renegade to avoid colliding with a couch that was sitting there.
Still, no sign of the Mudmobile.
I contemplated, for about 1/100th of a second, parking & going up to knock on the door, but:
A) I had no idea what would befall upon me as the door creaked open.
B) No way in Hell was I leaving my Jeep alone.
Any future treks to The Annex will be with myself as a passenger in the Mudmobile.
Mud...Don't take offense at the above remarks. I decided to go on down to Sin-é Irish Pub, but couldn't locate a parking space except in the back where two local hoodlums appeared to be up to mischief, as well as breaking & entering. So I drove back to Midlothian & settled in at Hops for an adult potable & wings.

...it was flat-out embarrassing.
I taped it, but can't remember the title, and the artiste was Shanklin, was it not?! Or is Silhan back in the picture?

That's a bit stiff, but it certainly wasn't amongst his best. The impressions of political voices that have been Shanklin's trademark serve to mask some production glitches, but when he tries to sound like the original lead singer, those flaws become more pronounced, IMHO. Fer instance, when the band got together last night, we warmed up with some blues rifts wherein I just grabbed the lyrics to Johnnie Cash's "Walk the Line" and went thru the entire lyrics in a slow, jazzy ensemble that included the BigMan, DiscoDave and LittleBill...we ROCKED!! By not trying to stick with the original artiste's presentation, we sounded sweet 'cuz every imperfection was not as odious/obvious as if we FReeped "Walk the Line" jist like Cash's original.

BTW...I've always suspected Paul Silhan and Paul Shanklin were one and the same, or at least related in some way, however, I believe Shanklin's from Tennessee and Silhan's still up in Connecticut. Then again, I usedta think Limbaugh was broadcasting his show LIVE from atop the EIB Building in Manhattan while--IN REALITY--he was takin' his cigar breaks on his veranda in Palm Beach, FL...reckon some folks jist like their privacy...MUD
