"The A.N.S.W.E.R., my FRiends..."
(To be sung to Bob Dylan's "Blowin' In the Wind")

How many roads must a man walk down before you call him a man?
How many Dreams must each Tyrant kill before he's forced to step down?
How many lives must the Socialists kill, before RATS are forever banned?!!

The A.N.S.W.E.R, my FRiends, is Lib'ralism's DEAD!!!
The A.N.S.W.E.R. is fightin' 'gainst RATS' Spin!!

How many fears must the Networks create before RATS're squashed by the FRee?
How many years can RAT-sheeple persist that Mass-Murder's just peachy-keen?!!
How many times can RATS' Hearts trick their Heads, pretending Slick's blacker than me?!

The A.N.S.W.E.R., my FRiends, is helping FReep RATS' pigs,
The A.N.S.W.E.R. is blowin' out the Ditz's!!!!

How many times must Lib'rals be duped before they will see Slick LIES?
How many victims must one man have before the Rapist hears her cries?
How many deaths will it take 'till World knows that Central Authority is VILE?!!

The A.N.S.W.E.R., my FRiends, is Fightin' 'Gainst Left's Spin,
The A.N.S.W.E.R. is taking down Clinton/Soddim/Treason.(gettin' outta the UN?!)

Mid...MUD

"Ye know what's really funny. (Kinda, sorta) You all revere your President. But I've met the last three Irish Presidents. And I've had dinner in the same company as the last three Irish Taoiseach (Prime Ministers) and have known so many Irish cabinet Ministers on first name terms it's embarrassing. (And I'm 30 years of age)."

I think you are correct in noting that Americans tend to be hero-worshippers, be the hero an entertainer, an athlete, or a political leader. In fact, the walls of my study are lined with 8X10 autographed photos of some of my favorite baseball players. So, I am guilty, too.

I don't particularly revere George W. Bush, but I do admire him. Almost as much as my two real political heroes, Ronald Reagan and Oliver North. But I am learning more and more clearly that these people we like to refer to as heroes are really human beings just like you and me. They all certainly have their shortcomings and weaknesses and they often fail miserably. I remember taking my son to see a ball game a few years ago and we tried to get Barry Bonds (who set the record for most home runs in a season, 73) to sign a ball for us. This was when he was still at the beginning of his career and was essentially a "nobody". Well, he refused our request and was rude to us. I still remember the disappointment on my 10 year old's face. Anyway, he learned the truth about hero worship early.

I have met three US presidents (Nixon, Reagan, and Bush the elder) as well as one Vice President (Hubert Humphrey). Reagan and Humphrey were the most sincere. Didn't mean to ramble.

"Didn't mean to ramble."

The hell ya didn't.
Just seems to happen with the pretty ones, doesn't it. ;^)

As for all those 8x10 photos of baseball legends/heros you have?
Bet'cha you don't have any of my cousins, Kenny or Cletus Boyer.

Who, just for the record, I never did get to meet.

...dear, sweet Aunt Edna.

Me, too**, and I've seen the Sultan Palace from accross the James River and it is PACKED with paraFUNalia...MUD

**Well, not 'Zactly...ever since Reggie Jackson hung up the cleats, baseball's been less-important in my life...I almost got to feeling it again when the Bash Brothers were En Vogue, but then there was the damned Kirk Gibson episode, and then I almost got it back watchin' Jason Giambi, but that BETRAYAL left me angry as all git out...but I do LIKE Miquel Tejada, so if we can git ONE MORE BAT, to go with those young, lively arms, 2003 May Be the YEAR!!

The reenactment is on the 23rd. Hopefully, the times won't conflict with the chile cookoff. Please check St. John's website for more information.

Regular summer reenactments began during America's Bicentennial in 1976. This event attracts thousands of people each summer and is generally recognized as the longest running historical performance in Richmond. This year will be the 28th season of the reenactment and the 228th anniversary of Patrick Henry's speech.

A special anniversary performance is held on the Sunday in March closest to March 23, the actual date of Henry's speech. This year's performance will be held on March 23, 2003.

Church doors will open to the public for unreserved seating at 1:30 p.m. for each 2:00 p.m. show. The Church can accommodate up to 400 people. Free on-street parking is available. A voluntary donation is collected at the end of each performance.

Yes, I am aware of the secret handshake. Certain churches also do this as well when baptizing babies. Certain Bishops and Cardinals also belong to Fraternities of this sort. Anything that is done secret will soon be exposed in the light of day.

God does not do things in secret for he exposes the light of such matters to those who have faith to seek truth which is His Word.

As for ChaseR, and BlackJade, being X'd out of here I can just guess who was behind it. That is, of course, if you are trying to provoke me.

"Bet'cha you don't have any of my cousins, Kenny or Cletus Boyer."

Betcha I do. Now we need a judge to assist on the terms of this wager! I pick Mr. Slim, who can certify by coming to the palatial memorabilia room and look at Green Book, number 2A about a third of the way down. When I spoke with Clete, all he wanted to talk about was his late brother Ken (who, of course, is most famous for his grand slammer in the 1964 World Series.)

Now, if they really are your cousins, then you would know the names of their two other brothers who also played professional ball...now wouldn't ya??

He went down to Oxford Town
Guns and clubs followed him down
All because his face was brown
Better get away from Oxford Town

Oxford Town around the bend
He come in to the door, he couldn't get in
All because of the color of his skin
What do you think about that, my frien'?

And the real irony is what??? See if you can get the correct answer by post #700!!

Kind of a silly wager [read: sucker's bet] don'tcha think?
I mean all that is a matter of public record.

But have it your way, you're speaking about Cloyd & Brett.
Who incidentally, I know even less about than Ken & Clete.
I'm afraid my blood link & two bits wouldn't even get me a cup of coffee.

As for Kenny's Grandslam in the '64 World Series?
You bet your boots I remember that hit.
I feigned illness so I could stay home from school & watch that afternoon game -- in B&W -- on TV.
fwiw, my Mother was a Boyer.

...funny you should have an autographed pic & I wouldn't, eh?
