Just a little break from the daily news and politics.
I have quite a few that I like and Im looking for more. Hit me back

"pettifogger"
Hmmm. Haven't heard that word since I called my ex-husband's divorce lawyer one.

He's right. You could hang around any traditional Greek, Russian or Lebanese family, and see every single character from that movie.
A guy from my parish and I are planning a goat roast for his front yard out here in the heartland this spring - partly to fit the stereotype, and partly because it sounds like a blast.

I haven't read all the responses but for something different..how about the twilight zone series on DVD, all the episodes. Not a movie but some real classics there.

I make a wicked tray of baklava, too.
A little spanakopita, tyropita, some dolmos and souvlaki.....

Please explain Mulholland Drive to me. Great and sexy to watch, but what the hell was going on????

Re: "Something Wicked this Way Comes"... Yes!
I remember when the commercials came out for it. Thought it was a horror story, but it wasn't. Jason Robards was great... just like he was playing Ben Bradlee in all the President's Men.
Here's a couple more of my favorites: The Heros of Telemark (Kirk Douglass), Von Ryan's Express (anyone remember the Italian hottie in this flick? I hated when she was capped, and Francis Albert too), the Guns of Navarone, the Dirty Dozen, and Where Eagles Dare, etc., etc.
