If you want to make just one call or email or fax or letter today, call Senator Bill Frist and tell him to support Lott's motion to break the filibuster. Tell Frist the conservative base is behind him and we will support his "radical" plan.

Thank you for this effort. The cause is so just it almost hurts. I will join you by renewing my efforts on Miguel's behalf and on our nation's behalf. I have stood below Sen Bayh's office in Indy and will resume this. The folks who travel by there offer thumbs up-especially the Hispanic folks. Nothing more alarming to a democrat than bringing the the word minority into the fold-especially when it is the democrats who are doing the crushing.

thank you for your perserverance. I will admit that at times it gets old, really old. There is saying that says when good people do nothing, evil flourishes. Well, if we don't actively support Estrada et all, nobody will. Tonight I called and left messages on many Dem senators. I also called the NRSC (2nd night in a row) and told them to break the filibusters. I called Kyl, Grasserly, and Dewine. I've been trying to spend much of mine time of FR simply bumping threads related to Estrada, abortion politics, Supreme Court etc. Hopefully many FR have been brought up to speed on the Estrada issue. I have also tried to tie this issue into to some liberals wanting to filibuster the extension of the assault weapons bill. There are freepers who are pro-gun, but not pro-life. Showing those Freepers the importance of breaking the filibuster might help make them see the importance of breaking the filibuster.

I don't claim to know the best strategey to get Estrada confirmed. I do know that calls, emails, faxes, letters etc are crucial in making sure the GOP doesn't cave. They're also crucial in keeping pressure on the Dems. (Hard to believe Bayh is sticking with this, but it's become a litmus test of sorts for being a Democrat).

This effort might last through the election. It might reach a certain point where we should spend 100% of our effort on Freeping our guys from the right. I'd say we'd reach that point once we know that there will be no SC retirements before the election, June of 2004. Until then, we need to keep the heat on the Dems, even if it seems pointless, useless, and a waste of time. This is not a one man job. If I do some, you do some and thousands of others do some, it makes a HUGE difference.

So in summation, FREE MIGUEL!

Freepers, read the previous post. We need to turn up the heat on the Dems for blocking Estrada. If all of us get active, we can make a big difference.

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the transcripts from the Senate Judiciary Committee confirmation hearing? I'd like to rebut some of the statements of my Senator, Herb Kohl made to me in a letter I received. I beleive he is lying to his constituents and I'd like to be able to prove it.

The cloture vote on Pryor failed today, I watched it on CSPAN.

Personally I think the Dems are setting themselves up to be griefed heavily across the rust belt on this issue in 2004. It's pretty obvious to me that deeply observant Catholics or Christians of any kind are getting blocked from the bench.

At least my 2 Senators voted yes.

Bush just nominated Janice Brown a black woman from CA, State Supreme Court Justice for the DC Court of Appeals. She'll likely be filibustered. The Dems are really playing with fire hear. Their boldness is unbelievable, I guess they didn't learn anything from the '02 elections, bring on '04!
