On the teaser for Savage's show here in Houston, they play a quote from him that goes something like: "I get up in the morning angry at the world, and it just goes downhill from there. It's like 'here's another day in hell!'"
I mean, what the h*ll is that? This guy actually INSPIRES people?
Pointless, directionless anger is of no worth to anyone.
Savage is a drip.

Heard Savage when I was up in the Bay area. His stridency seems artificial to me. As though he doesn't believe any of it and is only packaging what he thinks "sells". Just my opinion.

Well Ira, evidently his message is resonating somewhere. Radio 15 hours/week, NYT best-seller list, new TV show....

Savage is a Jew and he defends Israel and their right to self-defense.
He is anti-fascist, anti-socialist and pro-Bush.

Yeah. Ya gotta give him time to grow on you. I'm hooked. When you hear him make furious statements like that, people not used to it are turned off, but his fans know exactly what he's talking about.
Also, the guy opens every show with my favorite Metallica song, "The Shortest Straw". That's what attracted me.

I know all of that, but the man does not know the definition of balance sometimes. I am not saying I don't like him, I just think he's egostical and a bit cliche' sometimes.
But the red diaper doper baby thing... he's right about that. I like that phrase.

1. He is NOT anti immigration. (pre 1965) He is against ILLEGAL immmigration.
2. He is NOT against foreigners; he is against foreigners who come here and do not wish to assimilate into our way of life. He is against the ones who try to remake their "turd world" in our country.
When you come to America, you should be willing to become an American. Is that too much to ask?
The fact is that there are millions of immigrants who come here with the sole purpose of obtaining medicaid, and other goodies. The Somalians of Lewiston, Maine (formerly Atlanta) Mexicans in the border states and in the big cities...I predict much of the projected 20 million (!!!) Chinese AIDS victims will find their way here...then what?
His message of Borders, Language and Culture is necessary for our country's survival. He is 100% correct.

I love listening to him. He was jack-booted off the air in Nashville and replaced with Hannity. Personally I think Savage is better on the radio than Hannity and Hannity does well on tv. I'm just waiting to see how Savage does on MSNBC.
I have to listen to Savage via the web and I wish Nasville would bring him back, I think Hannity is boring {on the radio that is}.

You've obviously never played this game with Illbay before, he supports illegal immigration, thus his hatred for Savage. Illbay shows up on every illegal immigration thread and calls those posting to those threads names and tells them to pay attention to other things. The best thing is to just skip over his posts and move to the next ones.

last night he slammed a anti-war guy but GOOD!

The Empire State Building was built during the Depression, your grandfather was lucky to find work at all, he must have been skilled.
Italians are white people ( olive really ) Even the Irish faced prejudice when they came to America 100 years ago. The big difference today: we don't need more labor. We don't have blue collar jobs for these people. They are now a BURDEN.
Koreans eat Dog. It's cheap meat and I'm sure they'd rather eat something else.
Savage is not anti-immigration, he is anti-illegal immigration. I'm sure your Grandfather came here honorably through proper INS, like my Grandparents did. Honorable law minded people are a great asset to any nation. People who get to this country illegally are criminals.

We need to close the borders and put massive troops on them. Why President Bush hasn't really makes his judgement come into question when it comes to security for America. We all know Mexico is a problem country for us.

What is an American? What's American culture? We should become one amorphous mass of jello because Mike Savage says so? Who is going to define what an American is and its culture? I was brought up in a traditional roman catholic immigrant household. My father was the son of poor Italians and my mother was an even poorer West Indian. Now what version of American culture should they have adopted? American culture could be a lot of cultures. I know that I love America and that I'm a patriot. I like Mike Savage most of the time but sometimes he is wrong you know. He believes that God wound up this machine called Earth and let it roll by itself. I think Savage is a bit off on that point.
