Former U.S. Sen. Carol Moseley-Braun, who is considering running for president on the Democratic ticket in 2004, stands at a podium before speaking to a small group at an event sponsored by the American Women Presidents organization in Des Moines, Iowa, Saturday, Feb. 15, 2003. Moseley-Braun is spending the President's Day weekend at campaign events in the key early states of Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina, appearing at events sponsored by the organization. Ten inches of snow Saturday in Des Moines kept many from attending. (AP Photo/Alex Dorgan-Ross)

Is this for real? Is this a sick and twisted parody of the American dream of political office where anyone can become President...or the President's intern?

Common sense kept most well wishers away. Carol has challenged herself to a debate on Easter Sunday to get into the real issues. Carol refused to accept the invitation. Mimes had no comment.

Looks like there aren't many racists in Iowa.

Actually, what's most apalling is her "Ms. President" sign. (Though Mosely-Braun doesn't make for snappy Campaign signs, I guess.)
When a woman gets elected President (and it's GUARANTEED to be a Republican for a variety of reasons) they're not going to do it by having a pillar of their campaign being "vote for me, I'm a woman!"

How frustrating is it having Hitlery and Schumer as our Senators? Knowing the only Republican that can win state-wide is a RINO? The only Rep NYC mayor that can win is someone who was a liberal dem months before the election? I thought I was a rare breed (republican guy in NYC) - you're even rarer! More power to you.
