Frank Wright of Lanesboro, Minn., marches with other protesters in rural Harmony, Minn., Saturday, Feb. 8, 2003, holding a sign reading 'What Would Mr. Roberts Do?' Wright had the perfect idea: Use a beloved television character to make his point about a potential war with Iraq. The only problem was that he meant to write 'Mr. Rogers,' he explained 'Perhaps I don't watch enough TV.' (AP Photo/Janet Hostetter)

'What Would Mr. Roberts Do?'Mr. Roberts would apply for combat duty, so he could do his part to fight evil.

ROFL. Who the hell is Mr. Roberts? And as for Mr. Rogers, he would support kicking their ass. Mike Rogers is my congressman.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Mr. Rogers once a member of the U.S. Special Forces?

And Mr Roberts would tell Ensign Pulver to make sure to put marbles in the captain's overhead.
BTW: "Mister Roberts" was a wonderful movie and earlier a stage play about life aboard a US cargo ship in the Pacific theater during WWII.. It starred Henry Fonda, Jack Lemmon and James Cagney.
"All right... who did it??? who did it??? You are going to stand there sweating at those battle stations until someone confesses!!! The symbol of this ships cargo record has been destroyed and we are going to find out who did it if it takes all night!!!"
Absolutely great movie. Made in about 1955. Rent a copy if you've never seen it. No battles or gunfights, just a great movie.

Correct me if I'm wrong OK, you're wrong. At least I've heard that's an urban legend, one of those fascinating-if-true rumors that surfaces once in a while, but unfortunately is not true. I think you can check at snopes.com if you want to verify.
However, Mr. Rogers is a very fair and moral person. I would think that he would be all in favor of liberating the people of Iraq. It would make for a nicer neighborhood.
