It was Maria Cantwell that Hillary! held the fundraiser for. The DC chapter freeped her, I remember because all Hillary! served was appetizers and cheap wine, and set up bathrooms in the back. The guests couldn't even go through her house!

I think he is using the judge issues as a method to divide and conquer the senate rats.

I concur - think this was a well thoughtout strategy from the beginning. Think Estrada was sent up first as a wedge issue to turn the Hispanic vote (or at least a part of it) against the RATs. It could be happening if the callers on Rush today represent the sentiment of the Latio voters.

Sen Frist is up to something is right -- no way are they giving in especially since Cantwell just went after Pickering and Owens. I don't care if nothing gets passed until this nomination of Estrada is allowed a vote. Besides if they cannot vote, they cannot spend our money!

Then the GOP should run ads of the NARAL dinner where Kate Michaelman said that she expects every Dem senator will filabuster ....that comment will come back to haunt them

I am with you -- I think their voices have changed -- all we need to do is hang in there some more. Their poll numbers cannot be good in the Hispanic Community. Whoever thought I would be on the side of LULAC? Certainly not me!
