They've been there, done that.
Durbin mentioned that Estrada wasn't able to name one case he could comment on as a ruling by the Supreme Court-favorable or unfavorable. Durbin and Reid came up with one~the Dred Scott Case.
Playing the races against each other. Again.

First who caves first? If Lott were at the helm this would be a cinch to answer. I really want to see how Frist handles this. We will see if it was worth changing.

Howlin, just got back to my cube. Thank you for the ping.

Leaky Leahy is now talking! I would report but I don't want my blood pressure which is normally very low to go off the chart.

Sen. Harry Reid, trumpeting his own public service and that of Sen. Leahy, head Dem. judiciary Rat.
Now Sen. Leahy is praising Reid. Maybe the Dems. will spend the filibuster telling the world how wonderful they are. Me, me, me!

Senator Frist will NEVER cave and I mean NEVER! You don't become a heart surgeon by being weak in the knees. RATs are not going to pay for what they did to Lott which really was the best for our side!

Howlin, this has got to be the most BORING live thread you have ever posted!Rush is playing excerpts now of Reid, who evidently mis-heard the weapons statement. What an idiot.
But as to "excitement", MSNBC briefly showed a jet being held and searched, I *think* they said Boston, but they went away and I haven't seen a thread or a clip of the search again.

According to what I read last night, the choice is the Majority Leader's if he chooses to make them talk all the time which looks like with Leaky Leahy and Jeffords behind him that is what is happening!

Rush now plays Hatch's response to Reid's stupidity and did he sound righteously angry. As well he should!

What a waste of taxpayer dollars this is! And for what? To give Republicans more Hispanic votes in the end!
This Hillary-led DemocRAT filibuster is the oddest thing I have observed to date. The tin ear of her and politics is showing.

Excellent.
I guess rules for Filibuster and debate may be different than say, a Reorganization...

Me, either, although my interest would be more in the strategery, since I am a bit older than he.
I am serious. The Rats are really playing with fire. This has to be orchestrated by Hillary, who (as Dick Morris said) has a tin ear for politics.
The Rats are going to end up alienating all of their interest groups. They are treating Sharpton and his supporters like peons, they are attacking an Hispanic judge candidate, and they are opposing the war.
What a plan! Alienate blacks, Hispanics, and Jews and union members! Good job!

Can you give me a link to your quote from Byron York about the GOP senators meeting at 9 pm tonight? I can't seem to locate it. Thanks.
