It is on C-SPAN 2 now! Corzine is speaking -- not listening to that man!

There should be a pool. First who caves first? Second, when. First one past the post on both of these should win something. I say that the Republicans cave in that they move onto other biz. or break for the recess. I say that they do this on Monday. I hope that they do not. Actually, would'nt it be great if Bush had the guts to withdraw Estrada and then nominate him for the very FIRST SC vacancy and then when the Dems howl about his zero experience on the bench, he and the Republicans could say, "Yeah well, it would be nice had he sat on the bench for two years, but this is really your issue since you denied him the seat..."
Actually ha ha, this won't happen and I support Justice Brown being tagged for the first vacancy.

The whole Senate must be taking a break for lunch. Evidently he's talking to himself.

Are these morning speeches they do every morning or part of the filibuster? Corzine is talking about the budget not Estrada.

Jon Corzine is speaking now, about what, I am not sure! He looks like a child molester. Why people voted for him is a mystery to me.

Hmmm.... are you sure Corzine is talking about Estrada? Are you sure the filibuster is happening? Maybe the GOP caved and allowed the Dems to move onto other issues.
I thought during a filibuster the speeches had to be germaine to the issue at hand, although then why would Senators in the past be allowed to read the phone book. I am confused...

Their obstruction knows no bounds ! Grrrr !

Count me confused too...
But then, of course, I cannot find logic in anything a democrap says, so I'm perpetually confused when listening to one.

"Evidently he's talking to himself."
And what drivel!!
Just proves 60 million isn't worth what it used to be!

Durbin said he couldn't understand why Estrada couldn't give a list of people who he admired and thought were his hero's
Bennet from Uthal then came on and asked Durbin if he got a name from Estrada, would Durbin then vote
BTW .. where is Hatch today .. Reid made a comment that Hatch wasn't feeling well

He (Corzine) looks like a child molester. Why people voted for him is a mystery to me.It's New Jersey. Question asked -- question answered.
i.e. It's because he looks like a child molester

Did you hear Robert Bennett call Durbin on that, asked if Miguel would name a USSC judge he admired, would the Dems. vote? Durbin then made up more excuses. Call his office. His staff is willing to listen to the facts. (^;
More morning quotes:
Sen. Robert Bennett (R-Utah): "The Senator from Nevada has said here this morning that they will not allow a vote on this nominee."
Sen. Harry Reid: "It does not matter if there is one cloture vote or 50 cloture votes, we will never (allow this vote)." We're going to see this one through."
Sen. Durbin: "We should be able to ask these nominees the basic, most general questions..."
"I think that when the nominees are open and honest in front of the judiciary committee they are entitled to a vote."
Sen. Durbin

So --- basically they can just change the subject and talk about other issues ???
The only difference is that they can't stop talking ??? UGH !!! Since when does a democrap ever stop talking, especially in front of the camera..
