The Is-There-A-Run-On-Duct-Tape-Yet? thread

Has anyone bought plastic and tape as mentioned by Tom Ridge. I am sure some hard core Freepers already have it, left over from Y2K. I remember reading stories how the Israelis had all this stuff at the ready.
When is the Hajj over? When does Hajji come home? Will MSNBC run a Countown to Hajj ticker?
Maybe we should tape Gravis into his chair.

Sealing your windows and doors, even marginally, possibly WILL help if you happen to be in an area that is outlying from the major concentration of the attack or in a drift zone.
We were in Europe when Chernobyl blew. Radioactive fallout was measurable over most of western Europe within a few days.

A crate of ammunition and something to shoot it is much more useful, in my opinion. Then you never have to worry about having enough duct tape -- if someone else has some, just help yourself.

I just got in from WalMart here in East Texas. There was a full endcap on the main aisle devoted to duct tape and one to plastic sheeting! I got mine....
Also wanted to pass on the suggestion to stock up on DISPOSIBLE CONTACT LENSES if needed. I ordered mine today and hope they come in before it gets weird.
Prayers to all.

This whole thing is the modern equivalent of "duck and cover". Make that "Duct and cover!" ;o)

He is failing us I hate to say it CPB, but I agree. I am really angry that these guys stand up there and tell me I can expect to die rather than just doing what needs to be done.

Then you never have to worry about having enough duct tape -- if someone else has some, just help yourself. Nice to see that civilized discourse and behavior will survive a chem/bio crisis.
Be careful .... people that have had the forethought to prepare against this stuff will already be prepared against looters and brigands as well.

Fox played a clip of Dashole saying we needed to do more than just recommend duct tape..or something like that.
Fox saying there is a run on Duct tape.
I was out trying to find that Jihad Valentine and didn't see one person buying duct tape! ;-)

That's it!! A biowarfare "home condom". Sounds like something we'll being seeing soon on those "Paid Programming" cable channels.

I was in a Northern Tool and Equipment store today, *not* buying duct tape. Judging from the stacks of duct tape still on their shelves, the kind of person who goes to that store already has plenty on hand. I know I do.

Not me. I'm still trying to figure out what I'm supposed to do with all the bread and milk I bought during our latest snow threat.

...he had more than a year to deport illegals and protect the borders. He is failing us. I like Bush a lot and I am glad that he is our President, but I do agree with you on this point.

I thought I should by some Rat Shot, just in case we're invaded by the French. What a waste of money. Just show them that you've got a weapon - shotgun, rifle, butter knife...doesn't matter...and they'll surrender.

Get this...
Gas went from 1.55 to 1.79 today here in Mn.
Well, at the 1 station that was still 1.55, the lines were long, some were coming from the opposite way, trying to cut in front, horns were blowing, 2 people were arguing as I left......
Geez, is this crap happenning elsewhere...???????

Well, here in Phoenix no one I talked to had a clue about the duct tape advice. Got the blank stare.

All you really have to do is shout at them in German "hande hoch!" You won't need ratshot, but you might need some carpet cleaner for those embarrassing stains...
