It was a coast to coast effort on Clear Channel Talk Radio last night. Freepers SeenTheLight - San Francisco, Kristinn - Washington D.C. and Comwatch - Sacramento, took to the airways with talk show host Mark Williams for an hour long segment after Mark's popular "War Room". The boards at the station lit up and one caller from the opposition camp gave us all a practical lesson on just who these protesters are and how they react to the truth. They are losing the heart and minds of America with each demonstration. A dedicated group of of your fellow Freepers plan to take the Talk Radio campaign to the next level this weekend with live reporting from counter demonstrations around the country.
"We saw this kind of internet/talk radio networking in November/December 2000" says co-organizer Dave Jenest of Patriot Watch. part of the American Patriot Defenders Network. "Were at a time in our history where that spirit is needed again... we came very close to losing our way of life, the traditions this nation was founded upon. It was the grass roots conservative movement, outraged by the election crisis, that galvanized otherwise apathetic Americans. Today it's the threat of U.N. domination over our Constitution and the masses protesting around the country that must be countered in the mainstream media. This is one of our goal - resistance and speaking the truth. The media is just beginning to hear us over the roar of the hate America opposition."
Promotion for your efforts? Freeper Chapters Wanted!
We'd like to invite you to help network Freepers on talk radio before, during and after counter-protests. Here's a couple of the on the air talk show hosts who have joined in that effort. Would you consider adding your favorite talk show host to the equation and appointing a spokesperson from your group to be a guest on these shows? Last night, we joined with San Francisco, Washington D.C. and Sacramento for an hour long informative program on 50,000 watt clear channel station, KFBK.
The goal is simple: Get more people involved and get our message out. We'll see that your contacts are included in press releases and will have teams of people working behind the scenes to support the front line troops as they meet the opposition face to face on the streets of America much like we did in November/December 2000.

GET IT RIGHT! We Are NOT Pro-War!
We're Anti-Saddam - Anti-Socialist - Anti-TerrorismThe Goal: Networking organizations, talk radio hosts and individual patriots together... in one common purpose!
Okay folks... the momentum is building. People are sking to participate! I need your help.
I suspect we'll have dates for San Francisco and Sacramento early this week. Glenn Beck has already announced dates for Texas and Ohio. Radio Stations are sponsoring them and I suspect the same will be true for here and in other cities. We all need a seat at the table too. That means getting to work and getting with local stations. It means having a dynamic speaker from your chapter available to speak at these patriotic events. It means getting your members to CALL IN the week before and being part of a national team. Yup. teamwork is the key. No room for a single star, but a need to be a galaxy of many.
When we tried this for February 15-16th, only the D.C. Chapter stepped forward. We still filled an hour or more on a couple talks shows. Rush and the big players in talk radio had no one to call, nor were any Freepers able to get our messages on.
Please spread the word as we are at: http:/www.patriotwatch.com/rally4USA.htm Let's share the inspirational stories and events from other chapters and seek out those who lead and get it done. Let's join with other groups and encourage teamwork as never before. Free Republic has some great threads on how to make it work and that resource needs to be shared with others, Freepers or not.
Ping or bump this message to those you think need to be on a Who's Who list. Let's gets names, cell phone numbers and event details to local talk shows. Feel Free to use the graphic I've uploaded and modify it for your city's rally. Just click in the image below for the full size JPG file that can be saved to your p.c. with a right mouse click after the image opens in a new page.
Bump and great work!
I'd ratger just be another spoke on the larger wheel. But I'll be happy to lend a hand to the effort. To really be effective networking with EVERYONE, we need email addresses too. Sadly, some folks just don't understand FR or FRN ... I signed someone up this weekend, here in the Bunker, who been trying to figure it our for a couple years.
A shared database that requires registration and validation of some sort, is another thought. In my humble opinion, it needs to be password protected or something secure. Thoughts, suggestions... volunteer?
For the SF rally, may I suggest "FReeper Island" - the streetcar meridian/plaza at the Embarcadero and Market St (across from the Ferry Building)? We gathered there during the 2000 election fiasco. Lots of car traffic/honking. And, then from there, the option of marching to the ABC/KGO/KSFO building, and on to Union Square....ah...memories...: )
What do you think, (if you haven't already picked a spot)?
First of all, sorry if you've already been pinged for this thread, but I wanted to make sure everyone saw it. Many of you probably remember this thread from before the 2/16 counter-protest. If so, scroll down to comment #23 for the new info about the 2003 Rally for America.
I've been hinting that some kind of event was being planned and it looks like this is it! There's no date yet, so we'll have to play it by ear. For that reason, let's keep the 3/15 date (formerly planned for a meeting) open for now.
As far as location, FReeper Island (suggested by AP) might just work or are there any other ideas? Permits may be an issue if we get a good-sized crowd together.
Let's keep in touch as the details come out.
I for one will be thrilled to take part in our own rally for a change, instead of responding to the lefties. Time to set our own agenda!

About these results
I have a "FReep bag" - it's a backpack that I keep loaded with useful FReep supplies: ponchos, markers, tape, staple gun/staples, kleenex, pen/notepad, batteries (if taking radio or similar), etc. I used to keep it in my truck - ya' never know when a FReep opportunity will crop up here in DC. But then it got stolen from the truck. Now I have a replacement bag that stays by my door.
Count me in for media outreach. I think we can do an even better job this time!
