So, you think the "n" word is just a word like any other, but Black History Month is important. Here I go, knocking myself out again...

Ah, yes, another dig at "rednecks." But just a few posts up, didn't you say that that you "envy those with strong cultural hertiages"? But wait, you mean everyone but those stupid, mullet-wearing rednecks. Isn't it nice to have a whipping boy?

How about we take up a collection for the Air Lines and counter-sue these silly neo-slaves to lawyers.

Here I'll be sensitive in the same situation.

Sit your fat ass down so we can leave the the firm firm ground.

On the radio show I am speaking of someone else told a story where he was in line with his 80 year old grandmaw and grandpaw...

They were standing in one of two lines at a grocery story. The grandfather looked to the grandmother and said..."We should have got into the same line as that black guy", it's moving faster.

The grandmaw replied..."Shhhhh....They don't want to be called "Black" anymore...They want to be called "Colored".

Of course the guy explained they were both wonderful people, just "Ignorant" as to the topic at hand. Which, of course, is not an insult.

This reminded me of some of the older people I know...The absolute best people I know...Good, honest, loving, hardworking people, all them. And among some of these people, what we might call "Off color" or "Insensitive" remarks are quite often the norm...Examples like I just listed...Honest ignorance, nothing more.

They're just good people from different times. But I do find it interesting.

Yes, I know we can't do it, but the best resolution for this is for Grace and Louis (a woman's name?) and the foolish attorney to be euthanized.

And if we say"good Morning" with a smile,
someday, when that is out of style,,
to someone that a smile offends,
what must we pay to make amends?

It's not worth the price,
of such a sacrifice,
to pacify complete damn fools,
whose bloated EGO'S define the rules.

Let them eat crow!

Actually the "N word" was a parody of the original 'catch a "Tiger" by the toe'.

Tigers don't have "toes". I doubt if that was the original.

Euthanizing Louis and her attorney sounds like a good beginning, but there would still be an eternally long tunnel ahead before the light appears.

That is too bad. Perhaps if you did you wouldn't come across as such a predjudiced bigot.

THat really makes sense Gar boy-Ignorant insensitive old whites call Blacks Colored people instead of people of color as do the suave sophisticated young politicallycorrectites. Kind of like calling them blacks instead of negros, which is the spanish word for black. Nothing like trying to reason with unreasonable dummies.

Why don't you take out your PMS by beating your head against a rock? The rock will probably shatter into dust, but rocks haven't been added to the endangered species list yet. Knock yourself out.

"Eeny meeny" is one of many "counting out" rhymes (for choosing), which have endless variations due to region and time. The original rhyme is probably English, as the "eeny meenie" part is related to early Celtic numerals.
As we all know, children will take rhymes and playground songs and alter the words to suit themselves. It's been that way for centuries. In fact, eeny meeny is global, as is the ever popular rock-paper-scissors.

Black refers to a race not a culture. Your examples refer to cultures. Black History is racialism, period. It centers only on the accomplishments and activities of blacks, a race not a culture. Discrimination is the act of making a choice and is not a crime.

As for cultural discrimination that is currently under attack by the PC crowd, try being a Southerner.

I stand by my statement that Black History Month is (in respect to the purist definition of a history that excludes all but one race) racist.

But tiger does alliterate with toe, something one might expect in a children's rhyme, whereas n----r does not. This suggests to me that the n----r version is a variant of tiger.
