Officials said that the United States Intelligence Community has relayed information that Al Qaeda intends to launch an attack during the Id Al Adha holiday with 'soft targets' such as tourists likely victims.
The holiday is marked by an annual Muslim pilgramge to the Saudi city of Mecca.
Id Al Adha is expected to begin on Wednesday. Hundreds of thousands of Muslims, including Gulf Arab leaders, have arrived in Mecca for the Haj pilgrimage, Middle East Newsline reported.
Officials said that Al Qaeda could be planning attacks similar to those launched last year on an Israeli owned resoprt hotel in Mombasa, Kenya and a nightclub in Bali, Indonesia.
The attacks focus on so called 'soft targets' that contain Western civillians, mostly tourists.

Am I wrong to interpret you comments as dismissive?Yes. My point was that by always choosing soft targets, they maximize death and destruction. Though they pretend to be an "army" fighting for some great cause, they fight without honor, which makes them nothing more than common murderers.

disintegrated and then reorganized.Sounds like a plan.

I'm afraid we're too politically correct to do what we need to.

I apparently did not give you enough information..What I meant to say was I was in agreement with you, but adding to it that IMO the INS should be dealt with also for many cases like was specified.

In that case, we're in full agreement.
The INS should be disbanded and its functions turned over to the Border Patrol/Coast Guard.
If they allow immigrants whose origins/connections they cannot trace/understand to enter this country, then they should be forced to defend that this is not treason.

OH that goes on all the time here in our little south Texas town. We don't even call the Border Patrol anymore because it takes them forever to come and then they don't do anything.
