Yes, and since he has renounced his US citizenship, an INS detention center is where he belongs.
INDEFINITE SENTENCE: A number of the inmates at the INS's detention center in El Centro Calif., are serving de facto life sentences because their countries of origin won't take them back.

The head of the delegation, a former American marine, has been deported from Turkey for trying to enter the country with a world citizen passport after renouncing his United States citizenship.
I wonder if he ever read "The man without a country"?
