One would have to wonder why Drudge would consider anything about Michael Jackson more important than the war. Priorities aren't in order.

I think this will be denied and perhaps it was purposely leaked to shake things up... make Saddam start moving troops, get the UN moving, etc. -- Probably good strategery.

I heard a message preached years ago titled "One More Night with the Frogs." It was based on the repsonse Pharoah gave to Moses when Egypt was overrun by frogs, and Moses asked him when he wanted God to remove the frogs. Pharoah said, "Tomorrow morning."

Why would anyone want one more night with the frogs?

With every "expert" on the tube lowering his voice and letting out the "secret" that we will attack when the moon is not, a full moon attack would surprise.

I heard somewhere that they expect the war to start on Monday. They may be right.

Our new slogan should be, "Just say no to frogs."

I have big time respect for Blair. He could have taken the easy way and sided with the anti-American leftists in his party. But instead Blair took a principal position which he is taking lots of heat for. And he is not backing down.

He has become a Prime Minister. Of course now that he has become a Prime Minister his party will throw him out in the street.

What does it matter if Saddam gets out of the country or not? We don't even really know if he is there now or not. He could be sipping a cool one in the Caymans right now for all we know.

No matter where he is, he is still the dicktator of Iraq, and as long as he is alive, he will rob his people of their wealth, their freedom, and their dignity.

I will bet you a virtual cyber-beer that the phase of the moon will have no bearing on the date of the attack commencement. It was a factor in pre-stealth days against much more formidable foes, not an issue in this theatre.

If there is anything that will decide what time it will start, it will be so it can be during prime-time TV.

I wouldn't put too much faith in the whole "Moon is Dark" aspect of our timing.

We've been flying fighter patrols over Northern and Southern Iraq, hitting targets within miles of Baghdad, pretty much on a daily basis each week since 1991, and they still haven't shot one of our jets down yet.

And that's in broad daylight.

Why anyone would want to fight a war against someone who is ASSURED to have 100% control of the skies, the best technology on the ground, and the most Weapons of Mass Destruction in reserve is beyond me.

Heck, Iraq's army is SMALLER now than it was in 1991 when we cleaned its clock in a matter of hours.

In contrast, our smart weapons are smarter, our training is better, and we have more smart bombs than ever before.

Most of the Middle-East is in line for Darwin Awards for hitting us on 9/11 and waking up the Sleeping Giant.

Idiots.

It could have been done to shake things up. I think that's why we had the hastily called news conference last week at 4:30 too with President Bush and Colin Powell - so that our troops on the ground and satellites could monitor what the Iraqi response was. A hastily called news conference isn't common for this president and it probably shook up the Iraqis a little and they moved things around then, too.

Didn't make it clear, but what I meant was that during the Gulf War it started at about 3:00 p.m. PST.
