Ok, call me nitpicky but whats the deal with freepers misspelling the word serious by spelling it series? Also the word HUGE is not spelled hugh. This is driving me absolutely CRAZY. Ok my rant is over, thanks for reading.

"Sugar Hill Gang: Rapper's Delight!" That song is forever etched into my brain... I was a traveling disc Jockey in the late 70s to mid 80s.
To this day I can recite the entire Extended play version from memory

but someone please explain the "shower" business. I don't remember exactly when. Soon after 9/11, someone commented about going to take a shower and missed, or didn't want to miss, the news.
I was still lurking at the time, so didn't get to bookmark the thread.

I think the person who said it was also worried about a loved one who was on a certain flight or otherwise possibly involved in the news story...so everyone found it a little funny that the shower was taking priority over the news.
Or else I dreamed that.

"I doulbe Dawgg dare you..." NO, my Doctor told me if I don't recite it eventually it will fade from my mind... of course he could have been hinting at a early diagnosis of Alzheimer's but I can't remember.

No -- I think you're right -- it was a female FReeper, and she was worried that her husband's plane was involved in a forced landing or some such thing -- she made the mistake (oops! almost spelled that as misteak) of posting that she had to take a shower, but please keep the therad updated, which then degenerated into a bunch of silly "woman in the shower" type jokes (some of which were great, but not very nice, considering she really was worried)

PSSST!for a spelling freak, you're a few SSSSSSssss short, I think....and probably several exclamation points....you know, considering we're in ORANGE and everything....definitely deserves that 'little extra'.
(geez....I wander away from the computer and everything falls apart. It must be a Friday.)
