Ooohhh, g'nad, did you see this?
OK. Then tell me how Bill Clinton got elected the second time (much less the first time) and how Al Gore came within a whisker of himself being elected in 2000, despite all the well-known, crooked baggage he was dragging?
I could give a whole list of reasons why he was elected a second time, but it basically can be summed up in four words: He was the incumbent. Hillary will not be the incumbent.
and how Al Gore came within a whisker of himself being elected in 2000, despite all the well-known, crooked baggage he was dragging?
Al Gore's illegal activities are but a mosquito bite on the ass of evil that is Hillary Clinton. It's like comparing a couple of unpaid parking tickets to treason.
And was named after Edmund, and had no knowledge of those pesky billing records, Monica was a "right wing conspiracy" thingy, etc. etc.
I think in the old 3 network days she'd be tough to beat, but I think the playing field has leveled enough to at least give her a bit of her own medicine. Also, given her and Bubbas "tolerant" lifestyle, I don't think you can rule out a Michael Jacksonesque bombshell between now and 04.
I have little doubt that you never saw what I am talking about, because it occurs at a very high level. A good example is the people who fund the environmental movement. They use political funding to influence regulations to control who makes money. Thus the power to regulate makes it power for sale. The buyer with the biggest check becomes the winner. It's the reason the Slave Party has done so well with corporate donations in recent years. It's the reason corporations are increasingly proponents of democratic socialism. It's why control of media is enormously profitable, because it is influence of public opinion for sale.
In a democracy, the power to control public opinion is the power to control the use of property. When you hear the media thugs say, Our Democracy they aren't just speaking figuratively.
America will never trust her with the armed forces. period.
Also, we have to keep in mind that in 2000, IGore is said to have won the popular vote (they claim he did, anyway). That means that there are millions of brain-damaged RAT idiots out there still who would vote for her and the RATS just because they are RATS.
This is exactly what she did in New York. Remember when she "wasn't" going to run for Senator? And she won, even as a carpetbagger. (As much as I love New York, I detest "Manhattan" politics.)
I think she has (and is working on) responses for every item for which she'll be attacked, even the Hillary HealthScare of 1993-1994. In today's climate on that particular issue, she could wipe out her loss as if it never existed.
I believe she is a truly manipulative politician and can convince the sheeple of anything. Look, she got that seat on the security committee, didn't she? Did we hear any opposition from anyone on that BEFORE it happened? That's how she wins...inch by inch...until she's cleared the way to move a mile.
She's an evil socialist to the core.
She won't be president, but not because of the media - she simply is too polarising a figure, too many people have a deep loathing of her for it to work.
Furthermore, she's a retread, a has-been. She reached the apex of her power when Weird Bill had his first term.
Regards, Ivan
I sincerely hope you are right. Her husband got elected TWICE. The 1996 election was after Somalia, Filegate, Fostergate, Travelgate, and he still won by a landslide. If the electorate kept her husband power after all of those felonies, I wouldnt put it past them to elect hillary if the economy was still slumping. Mind you, I hope Im wrong, but this woman is to be feared.
I beg your pardon? She is as much an incumbent as her husband ever was. She was as much a part of the Presidency as he was, and most people realize that. After all, what other qualification for office did she bring to her NY Senate race? It was more than enough!
It's like comparing a couple of unpaid parking tickets to treason.
In the morally sensible America of decades ago, this argument would make a lot of sense. In the morally obtuse climate in America today and with her proposed legions of ready voters and camp-followers (see my above list of "why"), it is an argument which holds little water compared to her perceived plusses.
The 38-40% who know what she is (and care) will never vote for her. The 42% who love her unconditionally will vote for her in any case. The remaining 20% are just "moderate", unthinking types who greatly inhabit my above "why" list and will look for any reason to vote for her - not the least reason of which she is 'a woman'. They will overlook the accusations of the "right-wing kooks" (as we will be portrayed incessantly by her partisans and the Media...but, I repeat myself). Enough of these 20% will not want to be associated with the likes of the discredited 'truth-tellers' but will prefer to be seen on the side of the PC Media and history. They will think somehow that voting for her will make them a "better" person, politically and in their own minds.
Count on it.
Al Gore never had all the 'right' attributes Hillary! brings to the ticket. She will win the states he won plus a lot of states in the middle - some in the South, including Florida!
The only reason she will not have an overwhelming chance to win is if she is in jail. That is not about to happen unless somebody miraculously resurrects the actual missing pictures and evidence from the Vince Foster Case File, which has no statute of limitations.
And her parents were psychic, naming her after Sir Edmund Hillary, who climbed Mt. Everest, long after she was born.
She began raising her stature even further when she started blitzing Bush a few weeks ago by claiming homeland security is just a "myth," then went after him on everything from his budget to his futuristic proposal for a hydrogen-powered car. |
