"It's exactly her plan....wait to see if the party DEMAND her annointing as their leader. They probably will nominate her by acclamation. She's all they've got."

I hope it happens! It is the best thing that could ever happen for our side. President Bush and his team have more political savvy than the press or the pundits are willing to admit. Gritty's forecast of 42% automatic vote for the Hildebeast is high by about 10%(and this includes the women vote. Hoping you don't think I have a tin hat with a propeller, I think Putin of Russia holds the winning hand for Bush in 04. Deals have been agreed upon(legitimate) that make a second term for Bush a must.
I think certain (ahem)issues will suddenly appear, completely discrediting WJC and thus her, if she is nominated.

I really cannot imagine the powers-that-be in the Democrat Party ever allowing Hillary Clinton to be their presidential -- or even their vice-presidential -- candidate in either '04 or '08.

Democrat Party leaders simply must know that she would so energize the Right (and many moderates) that not only would Democrats lose the White House but both houses of Congress (again) as well because most of these highly-charged voters who will come out to vote against Hillary won't be voting for other Democrats in other races either!

I agree that she would lose in '04. However, after two votes for her hubby, I never underestimate the potential for the American electorate to go stupid on us.
