How interesting you should mention its (socialist) mysterious omission. The Baath Socialist Party - each and every time the discussion of Iraq comes up - yours truly remembers to include it - the Socialists I work however cringe when they hear the term. I guess it's just another example of the Left wing refusing to admit that their ideology leads to horror shows all over the world.
