There is a large coordinated campaign by radical left-wing groups to force the Rush Limbaugh show off the air, by pressuring his advertisers to jump ship and quit advertising there.
And they're starting to have more success.
This is how the liberals got Dr. Laura's television show cancelled. Can you imagine what will happen if they succeed in getting Rush Limbaugh off the air?
It's time for them to hear from real Americans.
Click "Go!" above now to send a FREE, pre-written editable message to all of the current advertisers on the Rush Limbaugh show, asking them to STAND FIRM in their support of Rush's show.
Don't worry if you receive some "bounce" emails back -- we've included enough email addresses to make sure that your message DOES get through! Be sure to forward this alert (http://www.conservativealerts.com/020303.htm) to everyone you know that's sick of whining liberals getting their way, just because they're louder than conservative Americans. Thank you!
ACTION ITEM: Go to our site below now to send a FREE, pre-written editable message to all of the current advertisers on the Rush Limbaugh show, asking them to STAND FIRM in their support of Rush's show:

Let's see when RATS say that conservative have an "extra Y chromosome" or "churches will burn if a republican is elected" or that "President Bush is the worst President in the history of this country." that's exercising your right to free speech under the constitution.
But if Limbaugh and Savage get on the radio and say what they do every day, it's "hate speech." Go figure.

I have enjoyed listening to Rush since 1988 when he was only on a few stations. I could only listen on the internetI've listened to Rush since 1988 because one of the first stations he was on was KFI. I was not aware that there was streaming audio over the internet in 1988, nor household access to it. As I recall, the internet basically was reliable, fast email and anonymous FTP then.

Too bad for the LWloons behind this that NONE of the advertisers have actually taken their advertising down. TBTM would like you to think that they have an effect but they don't. Overstock.com which they claim as a victim is indeed running banner ads. The other companies also deny pulling advertising.
But the funiest pathetic argument by the obviously chemicaly disabled LW kooks is that they are not anti-free speech. Typical hypocrites.
They also have a complaint about the ugly hateful troll Randi Rhodes not being syndicated. Check out the nasty picture of Rush with a Nazi armband and the hateful lyrics up on her site. Why is it these loons always call others hateful but then promote such vile garbage as this.

the only way one can boycott NPR is by refusing to pay your Federal income taxes, because NPR is PUBLICLY SUPPORTED, YOU DOPE!! LOL. I laughed at this fool when he said that. Meanwhile Overstock banner ads are running at Rushlimbaugh.com.
Everyone write info@takebackthemedia.com and ask them which will last longer, takebackthemedia.com or Rushlimbaugh.com?

The LW Loons like Mr. Stinson find it extrememly difficult not to use 4 letter words to express their point of view.
Just go over to DUmmyland and see the vulgarities. Potty mouthed children. Mr. Stinson is a frequent visitor over there pimping his TBTM website for webhits...look for the tagname 'symbolman'.

I'm a betting man that any sponsor that falls for this will find several more who want Mr. Limbaugh to use his mic to promote them .
Let 'em go & lets see what the market holds .

I believe, if I remember correctly, it was a Compuserve forum that carried it. I was directed there from a another user. It was in the early 1990's that a local station began to carry the show.
Thanks!

Ah Compuserve again. I was called on that only a few weeks ago. My early internet experience was traditional -- via university and the companies I worked for.

RECEIVED FROM RADIOSHACKHello:
Thanks for the email.
RadioShack has a long-standing policy of not intentionally buying advertising space on programs that might be political or socially controversial or that promote any one individual's agenda or point of view. While you may not agree, "The Rush Limbaugh Show" is one we deem to fall under this policy, as are the shows of people like Bill Maher, Dennis Miller and Dr. Laura Schlesinger.
Regardless of what has been reported, RadioShack did not make a decision to "pull" advertising from "The Rush Limbaugh Show" because we do not buy this show in the first place. Our media buying strategy does not include the purchase of specific radio shows that are against our policy.
We do, however, purchase specific blocks of time during a day within a national or regional buy. If a listener has heard a RadioShack commercial airing during "The Rush Limbaugh Show," it is simply an error made by the radio network or local affiliate who is given strict instructions about our policy and is supposed to block out our radio spots on shows that we deem against our policy. Unfortunately programming mistakes are made. When we learn of an error, as in this case, we ask the network or affiliate to make sure they are complying with our policy.
Simply put, our advertising isn't intended to offend or to exclude anyone from shopping at RadioShack. The friendly, helpful sales staff in our stores work hard to earn your trust: I assure you that the last thing we want is for our advertising to impede their efforts.
