Rush's advertisers know how much $$ his show brings in and they will stick by him. Besides, for every 1 current advertiser that leaves, I'm sure there are 4 or 5 wanting their spot.

Did you hear Stinson say f*** you at the end? He said it after O'Reilly said something about Stinson and propaganda. Watched it several times with TIVO and it was unmistakable what the jerk said.

I added text to my email, just in case they get bored reading the same thing over and over.

I have enjoyed listening to Rush since 1988 when he was only on a few stations. I could only listen on the internet,as there were no local stations carrying the program. The growth his show has enjoyed over a period of more than 15 years is a testament to its popularity.

There is no reason why any personality could accomplish the same providing that show attracted and held the numbers of listeners. For someone to demand the same standing that Rush has worked for for so long is no different than a competitor of yours demanding the same market share your company has spent years of time and millions of dollars developing. If their product is comparable, they will be able to develope a market share the same way you have.

Done and done. Here's a copy of my ammended letter:

It is my understanding that a small group of radical activists is attempting to get your company to stop advertising on the Rush Limbaugh show.

I am a regular listener to Rush's show and can tell you that these extremist activists are all wet. Their charges are bogus--utterly without merit. I am also an active shopper and purchaser of products advertised on the show.

Honestly, if I hear that an advertiser has pulled ads because of threats from far left extremist groups, I will refuse to buy that company's products ever again. Remember, there are 20 million people who listen to Rush's show. The far-left agitator demographic can hold a meeting in a school bus.

I would appreciate a reply on this matter. Thank you for your time.
