I'm not quite sure you remember this, but in a little known referedum last November, the Czech Republic voted itself part of Switzerland.

Its actually an infinite number of nines before the unattainable "infinite speed".
And I swear I'm not a geek, and didn't sit there reading Okuda's technical manual, nor did I ever read "Vendetta".....
To: Spiff
Wow my slide rule dont go that high i pulled it right apart trying to find the actual speed /sarcasm /

Warp 10 is not possible.Check this out.
In the episode "By Any Other Name", the Kelvans rigged the Enterprise to go at Warp 11.

I think I saw the altitude on FOX as 200,000 miles instead of feet. But that's only wrong by a factor of 5280. Confusing light speed for sound speed is about a factor of a million. (Besides being physically impossible, which the wrong altitude isn't.)

When I hit a mustard bug with my car at 70 MPH, that makes a heck of a mess. I wonder what a mustard bug would do to the Enterprise at warp factor 9?
Scotty would really have to clean the windshield when gassing up the Enterprise.
To: Pappy Smear
I wonder what a mustard bug would do to the Enterprise at warp factor 9? Mr. Spock says:
"It would probably destroy it.
Logically, one must assume that since there are no mustard bugs in space, in order to encounter a mustard bug then the Enterprise must be moving at warp 9 within the atmosphere of Earth, fairly close to the ground. Since the Enterprise was not built for such maneuvering with in the atmosphere of a class M planet, the stresses on the hull of the ship would be such that an encounter, such as you describe with a mustard bug, would be sufficient to literally blow the Enterprise apart...and Chief Engineer Montgomery Scott along with it. Logically speaking."
Live long and prosper.

Spock Sam, I don't know whether to laugh at your reply, or feel sorry for you. ;-)
