He is debunking a lot of information that is out there in the press because most of the data has been embargoed and not released.
Single tiles west of Texas on the way down? Have to coordinated with the CA observers. The observation that was forwarded from CA is important -- he described what he thought was tile falling off the vehcile -- whether it was tile they don't know. Talking to him. Don't know if there is any debris in NM, AZ, CA. Tile found in Fort Worth may be significant -- they don't know. Because tile is light it may have limited it to landing in the Ft Worth/Dallas area.
If the observation on the West Coast is correct. If we truly were shedding some material as early as CA would be signficant. Don't know that to be a fact! Sole team to investigate those reports. Interviewing the observer as to what he is saying.
Reports form all over the country -- some are fruitful others are not. Eliminating those that are not going to pay dividends. Too early to tell if findings would be useful.

He just said he did not know that to be a fact and has sent a special team to investigate and interview him.
And yes, I did link you to that side-shot, because it was NOT an explosion. As soon as that shot is over, the shuttle looks normal. IF YOU WATCH THE ENTIRE VIDEO.

I live up in the Sierra Nevada mountains in Central California and I watched the shuttle go by. As the shuttle moved out of view to the east, at an amazing fast speed, it passed behind some trees. I saw nothing from my vantage point. I saw the video today with the big PUFF and I know I would have noticed that. That happened to the east out of my view.
To: justshe
That's how I took it too -- not convinced at all that something from the Shuttle itself fell off.

I'm monitoring another thread....too bad some of those folks aren't listening to this. Don't invite them, they don't just listen, they ask the same questions over and over, etc.

Thanks for a firsthand view report! The press is irresponsible with their reporting IMHO!

"We get reports from all over the country. Not all reports are valid. We have a team that will specifically look at the reports from California, and interview those who have reported they observed something coming off the shuttle."

I missed the whole damned thing. Hope I get a replay somewhere.
To: Howlin
They don't seem to be able to figure out what he is even talking about either.
As for the tile that fell in Fort Worth, he said that the tiles are so light that it might not have followed the debris field.
Fox and CNN seemed to think their readers asking questions are more important than carrying the press conference. Fox didn't hesitate to carry the complete press conference of the Iraqi this weekend!

Daryl Jones was but one more phonied up fraud that Clinton tried to sneak through. Thank God he was thwarted. Jones nomination was an insult to everyone in the military.

Good idea to put this on the back of the other thread instead of a new one.

As for the tile that fell in Fort Worth, he said that the tiles are so light that it might not have followed the debris field. At the very beginning of this, I heard that somebody said the atmosphere was FILLED with debris at all levels...and that it would be coming down for WEEKS (which I didn't believe!)

And yes, I did link you to that side-shot, There is video footage shot from Nevada looking east.
The space shuttle shows up faintly UNTIL a 'puff' of white (best way I can descibe it) shows on the video - it is VERY EASY TO SEE. Very easy ... NO video tricks neded to see it either - if you people haven't seen it - you simply must ...
