within the 'conventions' of war would this be acceptable or would they be tried under war crimes. It doesn't seem acceptable to me but I don't know what the other side is 'allowed' to do once they have been attacked.

Usually that Mossad1976 likes to post these.
Sorry! :-0 bump!!!

There are probably more Al Qeda or Palestinians who might do this for their causes, but I don't see Sadamn as a spiritual leader whose people would think worty of suicide. Arabs in general may dislike the US, but I'd also suspect many Iraqis will be relieved when he is gone.

You're right, I don't think he's going to find many people in Iraq to carry this out. He might find some Al Qaeda types who'd be happy to oblige, however. Thing is, they're already after us, so what would be new about this? Maybe Saddam could spring for some spiffy new bomber outfits or something, so they could look cool when they blow themselves up?
To: AmericanInTokyo
He stated that they will mobilize a team of 1000 youths as suicide bombers Well, that changes everything. Time to surrender - oh wait, that's the french line. Why don't Saddam and his dorks brigade strap bombs to themselves? We could, and will, deliver the bombs airborne express for em :)

Iraq is now ready to launch a 'worldwide suicide bombing attack' Righto. Either that, or surrender to CNN camera crews.
To: ATOMIC_PUNK
For reasons known only to the fruit-loop running Iraq, the Iraqis are bound and determined to demonstrate exactly why an attack by the United States needs to be carried out forthwith.

Greetings AmericanInTokyo, FReepers, et al:
Why how can that be? Iraq claims she has no connection with Al-Qaeda terrorists. < /sarcasm>
