Why the eff do you care if your thread gets pulled and there are other, identical threads out there? What makes you so special?

Zip code, email addy, phone numbers etc should be taken out. No problem then.

Sorry, I didn't realize how rude I looked until after I hit 'Post.'

Hey! Click the pic with the white Viking bunny. I think we have a theme song for the freeper "FReeps Ahoy" cruise!
Yep, we sure will be "whispering tales of Gore" as we rock the boat to FReeper Island!
You can't a-fjord to miss this cruise!

'Salright. There's no intonation in plain text, so it's too easy to misinterpret sometimes.

Recent Freepers may not remember the days before the Moderators. Whenever Jim Robinson went somewhere for a day or two, the disruptors would come in, post multiple posts of the same idiotic article, maybe twelve in a row, and even bring down the server with an overload of useless schlock. There was no one home to bar the offender. And there was no immediate way to remove anything, which meant that the server might have to be shut down while someone cleaned up the mess.
No system is perfect (as conservative political theorists will tell you) but this one is better than the old one--and more amusing to boot.

Most assuredly.

Is it now FR policy to ZOT non-political and arguably very relevant news stories simply because the contents don't mesh with a Bush-Can-Do-No-Wrong following? Would this article have been cut if there were more explicit references to the whole thing being Clinton's fault?
Let's save the ZOTs for the demo-rat B.S. Let the rest of us judge for ourselves if articles like this are worth believing.
Flame away, if you'all want.

"If you hit 'history' at the top, you can see the original article."
IMHO, this is a great feature. If you want to read the nonsense you can. To date, I have never disagreed with a Zot (love the term) and don't think I am likely to in the future.

I'm sorry, I'm obviously confused. Why is an article tracing a reported stretch of warnings intended to prevent a disaster like the one we just witnessed "nonsense" when FR posted all sorts of articles after 9-11 about how FBI and other intelligence people had been trying to warn their seniors about major problems in U.S. intelligence, law enforcement and immigration - also in order to prevent a major disaster.
Is it only "nonsense" now because you don't agree with the story, or is there some hidden message in the story that I'm missing? Were all the post 9-11 stories also nonsense?
To: Admin Moderator
Fair enough. Sorry for doubting your motives.
To: Camerican
No, Camerican. It is I who apologize for not being more specific. I actually read this article here, I think yesterday, but I've read so many, I can't be sure. My comment was meant generally. I usually do check the "Zotted" stuff, and have not disagreed with any of the decisions. I especially appreciate the AdminModerator's explanation: duplicate post, troll, personal information included, etc.
