Hey NELSON! You never deserved to be freed from prison! I'm not going to dump on Mandela for that .. He was in prison a long time .
But I will dump on his comments he made at this conference .. they were wrong and out of line ..

Unfortunately, Nelson is neither " simple ", nor a " fool ". A stinking Commie, a terrorist, a racist, and yes, an America hater...he's all of those things; always has been.

Add to that a legacy of being responsible for turning a Modern Industrial Nation into an AIDS infested Third World thug driven sh*thole.

I believe I posed this question on a thread yesterday; I do agree x42's fingerprints are all over this.

They are also scheduled to hold talks with former United States president Bill Clinton and with the American Ambassador in London at the end of January well, well, well... ain't this some snake-oil
I can't help but wonder how the last two years were suppose to play out under the Clinton... Gore... plan: i.e., Castro's, Saddam, etc, political play book didn't work. Clinton and Carter can't rely on the American people to get their agenda rolling... so take it abroad??? hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

If Billary Clinton is behind egging Mandela on, it just shows that he realizes how irrelevant he's become. Clinton knows his Bush bashing words will be taken by the general public for what they are--par for the course partisan grumbling by THE FACE of the democratic opposition.
However, by having Mandela echo his charge of G.W. being a warmonger and racist to boot, Billary thinks this'll make it stick. Fat chance--Mandela's stunning remarks got attention all right, but I'm sure not in the way he or Billary had hoped. All Mandela succeeded in doing was come across as a senile crackpot, seriously undermining his credibility.
When the "new face" of the democratic party emerges as the nominee in 2004, look for Billary to go even more off the deep end as he becomes eclipsed.

He was tossed in the klink in 1963 (I think) after being caught with a truck full of explosives. Way back when, he was a bomb thrower for the ANC. He became, due to his prison stay, the symbol of racial oppression in SA until his release.

Clinton was the bag man for Uncle Soddomite. He brought the payment from Iraq and the script for Mandela to follow.

Thanks for the post ... Clinton standing in the shadows was my thought, too. Can anyone pinpoint just exactly when the X started wearing his African bracelet, and what does it really mean? There were some photos of the X with Mandela in Africa ... jovial and sporting a new-type bracelet. Subsequent photos have shown he continues to wear it. It was shortly after teaming up with Clinton that Mandela started his rant on the United States ... now full blown.

RE: $15B for AIDS. Clinton and Mandela are "Co-chairs" or something, of some international or Africa-based AIDS project.
I heard Thursday that the money will be administered by US Government overseas assistance programs, not funnelled through the "international" AIDS organizations.
Clinton-Mandela and their fellow travellers apparently won't have the money handed to them. They will have to work harder to rip off the US Taxpayers.
Has anybody else noticed the very muted appreciation from the AIDS community? I was wondering till I heard the intent of Bush's abuse of the tax dollars.
Then there is the opposite of progress to deal with - Congress.

I heard part of Mandela's speech on FOX tonight in which he literally declared himself an enemy of the United States. Anyone or group who praises this SOB is dangerous and in my estimation a threat to our Republic.

Of course you didn't, ALL people were treated by Western type doctors and not told that " WESTERN MEDICINE " ( read " white man's meds " ) couldn't cure / help them. That's precisely what Thabo Mbeki, the now president of South Africa has repeatedly said about HIV/AIDS cures, which we have begged and begged South Africa to take ( FOR FREE ! ) from us and which has been denied. Instead, many, many blacks now ONLY go to witchdoctors/ believe strange tales about rapping tiny children & babies, to " cure " HIV/AIDS.
In truth, South Africa's ( both black and white and colored )love affair / delusion, with Nelson Mandela, lasted about one year ; then, it was over. By now, most ( except those getting positions and power from the ANC ) South Africans are yearning for preMandela days. Yes, ALL of them.
Prior to ANC rule, South Africa was a prosperous, civil, stable nation. Now ? There is almost NO comparison at all !
To: Enough is ENOUGH
I heard the same speech clip. I also heard Phil Donahue tonite tell Neal Boortz and the audience that he thought "Nelson Mandela is a shining beacon of truth and light in the world today." The audience applauded. What's left of Boortz' hair fell out in shock.

Even so, whatever credibility he had with anyone conservative is shot to heck. It is sad. I remember this whole South Africa mess watching it on TV. Mandela was the man of the hour when he was let out of prison. Worse yet when he visited New York City and started that whole african-american thing going with the dashiki and kufi hat, etc.
I think now people are going to forget about how people were treated under apartheid, and focus on Mandela's stupid statements and also his horrible ex-wife. No one can deny that it was bad under apartheid though, and I'm not going to say in lieu of Mandela apartheid should return. However, this is what happens when people RUSH to judgement, revenge, bitterness, etc. When people don't reason something out and get ignorant about something, present day SA is what happens. However, I do not live in South Africa so I can't say what it's like. I met a man from SA, parents were Dutch, and absolutely not the stereotypical white South African racist.
Mandela should have kept his mouth shut. Actually when South Africa saw Bill Clinton coming, they should have closed the airport. The man (BC) is the angel of death.. death to people's political careers and whole countries too.
