RE: $15B for AIDS. Clinton and Mandela are "Co-chairs" or something, of some international or Africa-based AIDS project.

I heard Thursday that the money will be administered by US Government overseas assistance programs, not funnelled through the "international" AIDS organizations.

Clinton-Mandela and their fellow travellers apparently won't have the money handed to them. They will have to work harder to rip off the US Taxpayers.

Has anybody else noticed the very muted appreciation from the AIDS community? I was wondering till I heard the intent of Bush's abuse of the tax dollars.

Then there is the opposite of progress to deal with - Congress.

Sure hope GW puts lots of safeguards on that $15 billion we're going to waste on AIDS or it will be in Switzerland in Bill's and Nelson's bank accounts in no time.
