I'm glad I was in diapers when this guy was pres so I can't remember him This is a great 'trivial' question to ask people: Who was president when you were born? 1 or 2 in 10 can answer this question correctly! It was amazing to me, because that was one of the first things I remember being curious about. My only child was born during Carter's presidency and my grandkids were born during Clinton's presidency. (PS: I was born during Truman's presidency).

Did anyone else notice that Jimmah is now billed as "Nobel Peace Prize Laureate", not as "Former President"?
That's because even the 'Rats are trying to forget the disaster of the Carter Years.
That's right I said disaster, singular. There was only one disaster -- it began January 20, 1977 and ended January 20, 1981.
Gotta give him credit though for his tough stand in 1979-1980 when the Russkies invaded Afghanistan. He stopped our athletes from competing in the Olympics. That showed 'em.
So don't ever let anyone say Jommah isn't tough!!
What a jackass!

Yes, and no lights were allowed on in the classroom, and I wore three layers to work every day!

Why is Carter back in the news? He has never had anything to say. If an original thought ever crossed his mind, it would be the shortest trip in North America. Somebody put me out of my misery and shut this man up!

Jimmy Carter for Human Shield.

If Carter is against it, how could anyone oppose war? He has to be the biggest loser in presidential history! The only thing he ever did was destroy a healthy ecomomy and promote communism.

OOO, it is all coming back! Leisure suits, and cold offices, and horrible music, and here's one I forgot about...THE MEAT SHORTAGE! Meat suddenly went up in price and the groceries sold ground beef with soy protein mixed into it! I had forgotten that one!!

Anti-American Carter is at it again! What is with these ex-RAT Presidents?

Yes, and no lights were allowed on in the classroom, and I wore three layers to work every day!I had forgotten about that - it took until Tuesday each week for the classrooms to heat up to the mid-60's. We were allowed to have half the lights on - the row away from the windows.
As for the windows, the schools began installing insulated panels and replacing large windows with insulated panels and a small window so as to keep the cold out. Unfortunately, it also kept the light out.

He's just nasty.I heard that his mother, father, sister, brother, all died fairly young from pancreatic cancer.
Must be the nastiness that has kept him around so long, or maybe he never ate peanuts. :-)
