Most of the police cars are marked Miami-Dade county police, no different jurisdictions.
And yes, they are not patroling other parts of the county.
I went to college in Miami, and I'm very familiar with the area.
I'm trying to come up with a reasonable explanation for this overkill, but I can't. Your explanation is flawed, IMHO.
By the way, police officers are hired by local citizens.
So citizens have a right to question the police action, since the police officers work for us.
I disagree with your implication that only LEOs can comment on police actions.
