[history]
WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Bush and his aides tend to treat the early stages of the Democratic presidential race like an irrelevant sideshow, but Republican political analysts are closely watching the emerging field of candidates. Continues.
Even Democrats would admit this has been a gawd-awful week for them. Indeed, not since the fall of the Berlin Wall have Democrats had a week quite this bad. Nothing seems to go right -- oops, I mean Left.

Again, Democrats agree -- no way would Saddam hang around scummy terrorist low-lives, you know. Look, Saddam may have killed tens of thousands of innocents with chemical weapons, but would the dude stoop to break bread with the likes of Osama? No way! say Democrats. C'mon, it's not like Saddam doesn't have morals and stuff, right? Even dictators have principles! But the bad news for Democrats just kept on coming, with polls showing the President had rallied the country on Tuesday.
In one post-SOTU poll, people were asked if Saddam was cooperating with U.N. weapons inspectors. Most Democrats in Washington say yes, but a resounding 80% of Americans disagree with the Democrats.

I think President Bush delivered two good broad shots at democrat presidential wannabees, in his State of the Union.
To Hillary with love: "We will not deny, we will not ignore, we will not pass along our problems to other Congresses, to other presidents, and other generations."
Like your husband did!
To John Edwards with a snicker: "Instead of bureaucrats and trial lawyers and HMOs, we must put doctors and nurses and patients back in charge of American medicine. No one has ever been healed by a frivolous lawsuit."
Take that pretty boy lawyer!!

There's an argument that the Kennedys are a source of the demoncraps antipathy towards the rich. I mean just look at the clan. Boozehounds/killers, molesters, philanderers, and morons all living high on the proceeds of a bootlegger and always trying to get in the political driver's seat without a shred of merit or talent- just a tarnished name and oodles of unearned money.
They gag me and I don't have to work with them; I can just imagine what being up close with that gang must be like.

...and a mighty fine 2 Cents they are!
These guys and gals need a super mechanic to fix all their backfires. A recall of their rhetoric would be more fitting. Pelosi, Kennedy, Daschle, Graham et al are back peddling - to nowhere...no moral compass no compass period!

Dems are in a lot of trouble.
I like that.
If they keep up their attack! attack! attack! mode on President Bush, they will likely
lose more House and Senate seats in 2004...PLUS President Bush gets re-elected !
Hmm? If that happens, who will they replace Nancy Pelosi with? Barbara Lee?...lol !
