I think it might be a good idea to reinforce this reversal with some phone calls saying we appreciate them doing the right thing.

I found the web-site for the school
here. They have a phone number listed as 919-553-4064. I don't see any e-mail addresses however. I'll look a little further.

Black conservative pingIf you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)
Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.

Sorry, I can't seem to find an e-mail for this principal and I can't look any more right now. I have kids to wake up and get off to school. I'll check back later.

I think that phone number will be a great help.

Excellent decision on the part of the Superintendent. I'm getting very, very tired of the marxists attempts to ban a flag that presents no danger to them whatsoever.

Okay, so "gang colors" are also "okay" now.
This is just stupid. Schools ought to just say "you're here to learn. If you want to make silly political statements do that on your own time and place."
The long slide into anarchy takes another couple of feet.

Perhaps the finest use of the language of the day by a conservative I have ever heard. As I say, "Celebrate my diversity or I will sue you."

This is just stupid. Schools ought to just say "you're here to learn. If you want to make silly political statements do that on your own time and place."Really!! How dare they wear something that the racist NAALCP has deemed offensive. And can you imagine some students not willing to accept the regurgitated pablum of revisionist history these 'schools' pass off as truth? I'm with you Illbay. I think they should all be forced to go worship at the tyrant's shrine in Washington as punishment. You getting up a bus to go or shall I? LOL!!
Tell me son, if they're not able to make a political statement until a certain age, and just 'learn' as you say, by the time they are of acceptable age to you, won't the only political statements they make be in line with the national government? Ahhh, but that's what you'd want now isn't it? I don't remember the Constitution stating there was an age limitation on freedom of speech. Of course I don't remember the Constitution covering federally funded schools now either, do you? Maybe you're one of those folks like I've got at work that told me flat out yesterday the Constitution doesn't apply today. It's outdated. According to them we should let Daddy government take care of us, supply us with all our needs. Well they have a place for people like that. It's called Europe

"My point was, you can't preach tolerance if you pick and choose what you will tolerate."Well now we can't have that now can we? According to ol' Illbers they have to be taught first by the national government what they are supposed to tolerate and not tolerate and then let them make a political statement. Yeah, let the government shape your children's mind first, let them set up the PC standards in their heads, then let them make a political statement. Good grief, I wouldn't even want to imagine what kind of nation of states this would be.
