The syringes and IV tubing they described seemed pretty common place.
Most vaccines could be administered using pretty standard syringes and/or IV tubing of which there are several manufacturers.

I just talked with my pre-med grand daughter at UNC. She is working in the trauma unit at the hospital and said that helicopters had brought in 5 burn victims. A surgeon told her that at least one other had been taken to Duke.Other less serious vicims are at the hospital in Lenoir, she learned. She also said that when returning to her dorm, she had to wade through scads of TV crews gathered all around the hospital.

You know you can buy this stuff down at the hardware store in quart or gallon cans for use as paint solvent or degreasing solvent. There's a water tower in Kuwait that's over 600 feet (with a slightly shorter companion) -- but that apparently qualifies it as a global landmark. So I think you're right that there can't be 800 footers in Kinston, NC.

Your post reminded me of listening to a motorist calling in to a local TV station on the morning of the bombing of the Fred Murrrah building in Oklahoma. He was on his way to work in the building and heard (and saw) the explosion. He said he thought it must be a gas explosion, till he remembered there was no gas in that building. This was before the cause of the explosion was known.

According to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, the plant was inspected in October, cited for numerous safety violations and fined about $10,000. State labor spokesman Juan Santos said the fine was reduced to $9,075 in an informal settlement Jan. 8.

They say the incident happened around 1:15 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. The TransPark is located at the Regional Jetport in Kinston. It was designed to be a manufacturing and transportation center allowing local companies to deliver products around the world.
