I just talked with my pre-med grand daughter at UNC. She is working in the trauma unit at the hospital and said that helicopters had brought in 5 burn victims. A surgeon told her that at least one other had been taken to Duke.Other less serious vicims are at the hospital in Lenoir, she learned. She also said that when returning to her dorm, she had to wade through scads of TV crews gathered all around the hospital.
