President Bush will address the nation on Tuesday, 28 January at 8 P.M.

Sarandon's timing of her 30-Second meida blitz just seconds before the President presents his cause in the war against terrorism is a desparate grasp at reaching the hearts and minds of many Americans and a direct attempt at painting the President as a "War Monger."

She is backed by many of her influential colleagues in Hollywood - including a former "close" ally Sean Penn.

Sean, you may recall, has already paid his tribute to their cause by his recent visit to Baghdad and Iraq.

Believe it or not, I saw RHPS for the first time last week.

I didn't even know she was in it!

I must admit, "in the day", she was quite hot.

That said, her acting skills, even as a comic book slut, were awful, and the, er, "message" of the movie is beneath contempt.

Yes, all true if somewhat understated, and at that she's 1000 times smarter and 1000 times better looking than Barbra Streisand.

Sarandon's big line in her commercial is, "What has Saddam done to us?"

Cut to 1941. There were already wars in the Far East and in Europe. Mass murders were already going on. Yet there was a large and active organization called "America First," which sought to keep the US from getting involved in World War II.

Their anti-war message then could be summarized in the question, "What has Hitler done to us?"

It was only after the war that the full story of Hitler's homicidal mania came out. That make it clear that the war against Hitler was the proper business of every moral human, and every civilized government. "America First" at the time contained both genuine passivists who were merely deluded, plus a small number of pro-Hitler operatives who were hiding behind the mantel of passivism.

In short, "America First," was quite similar to A.N.S.W.E.R. is today, circles of dupes surrounding a center of apologists for mass murder. Sarandon would know all this if she'd ever read a book about the years leading into World War II.

So the answer to Sarandon is, "Read a book, you dumb broad!" And with it is a question, "When this war is over, the mass graves are opened, and the truth is out, will you run a new commercial saying -- 'I was wrong and stupid. I apologize to the people of the United States, and to the President.'?"

I doubt it. Her stupidity is wall-to-wall and end-to-end. An honest apology is more than she could muster. Let's just call her Susan ("Baghdad broad") Sarandon from now on.

I think I will go ahead and call my local channel, see if they plan to show the ad and go ahead and give them a piece of my mind. I will turn on the President at exactly 8:00 p.m. (Central) and off as soon as he is done. I will not view any of the advertisements etc. Not that I watch hardly any TV at all anyway.
