Prayer for Bush.
He has actually turned into a good speech giver. Besides, everytime the media and their RAT friends try to play him for a fool--like they're doing now--he shines his brightest. Let's hope history, in that regard, repeats itself.

I will tack my prayer thread onto this thread:
We need to pray for the President to move this nation tonight.
We need to pray that Bush will open the hearts of this nation to the threat Iraq poses. We need to pray that his message about domestic issues, especially the economy, will resonate. We need to pray that God will be honored by the word of our President. We need to pray that Bush hits one out of the ballpark to silence the liberals and shove through a conservative agenda; it is time to effect change now and this speech is very important in our ability to get OUR agenda out. Let us pray for God to move in the hearts of the viewers and in the heart of our President to move with passion to fight for what is right.

Well I thought it was a pretty good speech. Wish he said more about Iraq but the stuff on the economy was great. I hope he follows through with it. I could sure use another tax break. We pay too many taxes.
Did you see the way Hillary was "pretending" to clap with that forced smile plastered on her face? Pathetic.
As usual, network coverage was a joke. I switched directly to FoxNews and stayed there the rest of the night.
One thing I really like about this president: He doesn't need to have a team of "spin doctors" explaining to the press what was just said. This president is a plain speaker and even The New York Times should have no problem figuring out what Bush just said.

I'm sure President Bush will give an excellent speech and I'll check in after it's over to read this thread for insight. But unlike more skilled Freepers, I can't pay adequate attention to speeches of this magnitude and type. Given how long this thread is already, 6.5 hours before the speech itself, I'll have a lot of catch-up reading! LOL.
