Commented Stephen M. Crampton, chief counsel for the law center: "When the politically correct invoke 'tolerance,' they usually mean tolerance only for those promoting deviant and socially destructive behaviors."

And it's always for and ON BEHALF of the Left -- aka the Democratic Leadership -- to help destroy America from within.

the equivalent of the swastika.

NOT letting him wear the shirt is comparable to the Nazi thought police.

Nasty slant on this article.

It's not the message on the t-shirt that the principal is comparing to a swastika, it's the level of disruption that it would cause to the school.

Rather wearing t-shirts with emotionally charged words like homocide, the student should wear a t-shirt that hightlighted the link between abortion & breast cancer. The student would be doing a public service by educating the school about women's health issues.

That's up to the kid and his family. I think they may be right. The truth of the matter is that abortion dismembers unborn babies. Ugly stuff that should not be swept under the rug.

If I were the student, I would sue the school district for an acceptable level of compensation, require the principal to write an essay on the importance of free speech & freedom of religion, and demand the principal attend sensitivity seminars on how abortion causes breast cancer and how Margret Sanger(Planned Parenthood) wanted to use abortion as a means of racial genocide for jews, blacks, and other minorities. I feel conservatives ought throw the left-wing's playbook right back at them.

Good reading. And The Scarlet Survey (and Victims of Choice) are highly recommended.

Former Nazi and SS officer Vilis Kruze put his wartime skills to work performing abortions for Kaiser Permanente in Ohio and Hawaii. He was convicted in connection with botching an abortion on a 19-year old "exotic dancer" who committed suicide a few days later. Kruze had some very strange habits, even for an abortionist. He locked his female secretaries in closets and made them urinate into bottles while at their desks. Ohio authorities eventually sent Kruze to prison then committed him to a hospital for the criminally insane. Kruze also gave drugs to young girls in exchange for sex, and, after he was released from the mental hospital, the brother of one of these girls tracked him down and killed him in revenge.

actually....most of our children would be better off homeschooled. Ironic how the "nazi" principle calls this child's t-shirt equal to a swastika, when the principle is equal to an SS leader. I say way to go kido, keep it up and wear that shirt any time you like. Public schools are little more than liberal training camps these days. HOMESCHOOL IS SUPERIOR.

Student's Pro-Life T-shirt Is Equivalent to the Swastika Says School Principal

Principal's Mind Is Equivalent to That of Syphilitic Pig.

Don?t you just hate those question marks? I?ve found that copying from Word and pasting into a response box sometimes replaces all apostrophes with the question mark.

Ridiculous, the Swastika is about personal well being and life style, something abortion for convenience is all about.

As for the abuse of powers of the principal, that should land this fascist in jail in more normal times (stupidity and inaction is not natural these days). The confinement, labeling, shuning and false witless testimony in color of law is just the beginning...

Who is going to provide those uniforms..

Uniforms are far, far less expensive than clothes almost all children end up wearing to school. To maintain otherwise is uneducated.

Right. Philadelphia, the poorest school district in the region, requires uniforms. Residents of Abington, which is one of the wealthiest, certainly could. Around here, the uniform requirement is of the dark pants-plain white button shirt variety, thus not requiring purchase from a specific store.

Years ago, a liberal University of Pennsylvania English professor told me that Abington was the best school district in the area. Now I see why he thought that.

And I'm not attacking them "for no reason"... they seem to specialize in bullying... but only on behalf of a special interest group. At least once I've referred to them as the: "Thomas More Legal Harassment Center." Their efforts mostly seem to rely on outspending the opposition and "winning" by attrition. I resent the fact that they litigiously waste education dollars like that. Schools are big, juicy, stationary targets for that type of nonsense.

< Leonard Nimoy voice ON. >

Fascinating. You mean like the "Human Rights Campaign Legal Harassment Center" and the "Lambda Legal Harassment Center for Gays, Lesbians and Bisexuals," whose cause you have advanced so vigorously with your sophistry skills on other threads?

ANN ARBOR, MI The mother of an honor student at Abington Junior High School in Pennsylvania was told by the principal that her son?s pro-life t-shirt was unacceptable school clothing because its message was the equivalent of the swastika. The t-shirt displayed the messages, ?Abortion is Homicide. You will not silence my message. You will not mock my God. You will stop killing my generation. Rock for Life.?
If it was the equivalent of a swastika, wouldn't the ACLU be defending this kid?

The part about "not mocking God" is a tad questionable since it threatens the suppression of free speech, but when its all said and done it's all protected.

"I feel conservatives ought throw the left-wing's playbook right back at them."

That is precisely what I've been doing to madg on another thread (this one on the topic of homosexuals) for the past several weeks. The Hate Bush Left does have a playbook and she's following every page of it. Her favorite tactic is to chop one of your comments out of context, then distort it into something that's either stupid or evil, and smear it in your face.

Unlike Democratic Underground and other left-wing forums, here at Free Republic we allow our ideological opposites freedom of speech. This is principally due to the fact that conservative arguments are based on law and science, while left-wing arguments are based on feelings and emotions. If we handle the facts correctly we will win every debate.

madg appears to be a left-wing missionary, who has come to preach abortion and gay rights to the heathen here at Free Republic.

Actually, madg can be a lot of fun. Just stick to your guns, be patient, and use arguments that are strictly secular, based in science and the law. Eventually, she will take her ball and go home, as she did here:
