Americans opposed to waging war in Iraq streamed into Washington under blue skies and bright sunshine January 18, 2003 for mass protests demanding the White House back down and give U.N. weapons inspectors a chance. Tens of thousands of people are expected to demonstrate in Washington and San Francisco, representing what organizers said would be the largest showing of U.S. anti-war sentiment since President Bush (news - web sites) started making his case for attacking Baghdad last year. Looks like the reverse of his poster used some sort of reference the the "I'm just a bill" educational cartoon.

A pro-US military gathering of another sort...

South Koreans gather Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003, in downtown Seoul, to show support for the United States and the military personnel stationed in the country. More than 40,000 braved the cold weather to chant slogans and listen to Christian leaders. (AP Photo/David Longstreath)

...Even with the massive TV Coverage of the Anti-U.S. folks...

...our Message of:

"We were attacked, We have the Right to protect ourselves, We support our President"

...got out there to the country on TV just fine, Thank You.

...America bonded with US.

Thanks to the Internet and technology, the antiwar crowd is being exposed for what they are and people simply aren't buying into their rhetoric.

I believe it's going to get worse, as we begin to find out where the financing comes from for some of these fringe organizations.

You're right about that. We're going to find out, I believe, that they're funded by communists and the Islamic lunatics.

Hide and watch.

Found another (although the caption doesn't reveal that they are for the war, not against). I know of no other way to interpret the "Free Iraq, Let's Roll" poster.

Fabulous photo of demonstrating South Koreans. I was beginning to wonder if that little nation had forgotten the Americans who died defending their freedoms.

Sorry, I'm working my way through a lot of posts of photos on this and another thread. Thanks for the correction.

Notice too that the "passed" act (the "bill" in the cartoon) is saluting. Probably the "Homeland Security Act" or some similar legislation.

Here's a reason why the South Koreans support the US military in spite of what hipppies and communists would have us believe:

North Korean union members, youths and students hold a mass rally in support of a government statement declaring its withdrawal from the nuclear non-proliferation treaty in a square in front of a monument to the party foundation in Pyongyang, North Korea (news - web sites) January 14, 2003. The top U.S. envoy for Asia said on January 16 that resolving the nuclear stand-off with North Korea would be a 'slow process' despite agreement around the globe that the Korean peninsula should remain free of atomic weapons. (KNS/Reuters)
