Matthew 25: 35-36, 40b
For I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was in prison and you came to Me . . . Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.
Blessed are You our Lord, our rock, Who trains our hands for war, and our fingers for battle. You are our fortress, our stronghold and our deliverance. You are our shield in Whom we take refuge, and we thank You that You are our strength during these troubling times.
We praise You, Father, for standing beside Your servant, President Bush during this stress-filled week. How we thank You for all You are doing in and through this mans life. We are grateful for all the ways You have helped him to grow and the faith and trust he has placed in You. Father, without You, he can do nothing, just as none of us is sufficient without You. But with You, he can do all things in Christ, as You strengthen him. Be with him, Lord, as he makes crucial decisions for his country. Be as close to him as the breath he breathes and enable him to hear Your voice guiding him in the path You want him to take. Help him to find favor in the eyes of America, Lord, but let him always seek first to please You. We rejoice that he has taken a stand in defense of human life, and we pray that you would continue to make him an advocate of the unborn and the elderly. We thank You, Father, that You will bless him because of his obedience to You.
We know that many our military service personnel are saying good-by to their families, Lord, as they prepare for possible wartime activities. We ask You to protect them from harm, from danger, from temptation, and from loneliness. May the Holy Spirit be with them at all times to comfort them and to bring peace to their hearts.
Be our vision for this nation, Father. Hear the prayers of Your children who seek Your highest blessings upon America. Help us to become all that You want us to become. We thank You that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we can ask or think, according to Your power that works within us. We love you, Father, and we place these prayers at the foot of the cross in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

May President Bush be ever faithfully tuned to His voice and leadings. This Country needs God more now than ever, as do we all.
May God lead, guide, direct and help us in every small step.
Your prayer is most beautiful, sweet 'Whoever'.
As are you. How wonderful to see you!!! I miss you. : )
Thank you, Faith.
Thank You for a Commander in Chief that names the name of Jesus Christ. Thank You that he is seeking to be obedient to You. Lord keep him yielded to You, and may Your will be done in his life.
Thank You that he has continued to take a stand for the sanctity of human life, for freedom and justice, and for the Constitution. Thank You that he is a strong leader, not only politically, but far more importantly morally and spiritually. Help him to continue to reflect Your love as he has so clearly done. Keep him from arrogance or pride. Guard him against the temptations of the evil one in his life, and give him the strength he needs to perform the enormous task to which You have entrusted him.
Bless and protect Laura, and bless their marriage with even deeper love and joy. Be with Barbara and Jenna, and help them to mature in the love of Christ. Be with and guide the Cabinet, the entire administration and the Congress. Father may we continue to move, as a nation, back to Your truths and Your ways. Bring a deep and lasting spiritual revival to America, O LORD.
Thank You that You hear and answer prayer. It is through the cleansing blood of Jesus, Your Son that I pray, Amen.
You are Creator of all the universe; it was Your hands which placed the sun and the moon in the sky, which lifted the mighty mountains and filled the seas. And yet Your word tells us that You know when a single sparrow falls from the sky, that You know the most minute detail, even to the number of hairs on our heads. You loved us enough, in spite of all our failings and shortcomings and sins, to send Your own precious Son to take our sins upon Himself and die for us after He shouwed us how to live. We offer up our humble praise, O Lord, and seek to hear Your voice and do Your will. All praise to the Lord God Almighty!
Father, this has been a week when President Bush has taken strong stands for the sanctity of life and for upholding the dignity and equality of all persons; it has also been a week when he has had to deal with the prospects of war and of sending America's finest into battle. We thank You for giving him the courage of his convictions; for strenthening him for the ominous tasks before him; for leading him through each day. Inspire him as he prepares the State of the Union speech and as prepares to deal with the evil ones who would destroy us all. Keep him safe and well, Lord; and bless his family that they may offer him comfort and strength. Fill him with the peace that passes understanding and lead him down the path of righteousness that he may glorify Your name in his words and deeds.
Lord, our hearts ache for the families whose loved ones have gone to foreign lands, perhaps to battle. Comfort them even as You give strength and courage to those who will fight to protect our freedoms.
Revive our nation, Lord, that Your name may be once again honored and revered throughout the land. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
"It is a privilege to join such faithful Christians in praying for our leaders, administration, staff, etc. so that this Country might be blessed and led by God."
Yes, indeedy! I'm very thankful for this thread, and for the wonderful people who tend it.
Thank You, Jesus for the many blessings Thou has bestowed on this great nation of ours. Yet many do not recognize them as such, many do not accept the fact they have come through You. May their eyes be opened to see and may their ears be opened to hear Your magnificent words.
We humbly pray for our President Bush and his administration. Endow them with Wisdom, Courage and Patience that they may safely lead us through any and all tribulations. In Jesus' name we pray
