Grand Dragons are directly below the Grand Imperial Wizard. Its ludicrous to think Byrd wasn't involved in a lynching or two back in the day.

If you find it, let me know so I can freep him in support.

Not so much for his position on Israel in specific but for his America-first policy in general. He is a true patriot, and the most honorable man in Congress.

The honorable Rep./Dr. RON PAUL isn't anti-Israel.....not in the least! He voted "no" on this resolution purely on Constitutional grounds. I don't know the details of the resolution, but if it included any kind of foreign aid, or sticking our nose into the affairs of other sovereign nations--both of which are unconstitutional--then I would agree w/ him 100%. As usual, RON PAUL IS RIGHT!

Now as for the Dims who voted against this resolution, notice that many of them are in the socialist Progressive Caucus....I think it's safe to say that many of them COULD be anti-Israel.

I thought Condit was out. Are you sure this is correct?

Sorry, but this is also not true. His actual membership ran 2 years during his twenties. He remained a sympathiser after that, but the last evidence of any Klan related activity was a letter 3 years after his membership ended in which he asked the Imperial Grand Wizard if it was possible to reform the Klan in West Virginia, as it had disbanded.

DW--there was no resolution yesterday. This is an outdated e-mail. Anoldafvet and Hildy are correct--People like McKinney and Condit aren't in Congress any longer. This is from last year sometime.

That's why e-mai;l sources for info have to be checked out--they are usually not trustworthy.

Which is it, denny? Ignorance or programming error?

You're right. I didn't know when I posted but it's dated. But still instructive that RATS dominate this list.

"Friends, if ever there was a definitive list of the anti-Israel members of Congress, we have it now. It's these 23 members who voted against the August 13th, 2002 House and Senate resolutions of support for Israel."

So if a congressman voted to stop illegal immigration would that make him anti-Mexican? If a congressman voted to cut welfare would that make him pro-rich? If a congressman voted to cut highway funding would that make him anti-detroit? You throw your accusation rather freely. How convenient.

Your comparisons are not valid, so I will not address them. I will address your claim that I throw my accusation freely, and you will find it is based on larger beliefs than this anecdotal evidence. I believe the majority of the Democrat Party is anti-semitic. They have to be, they're atheists or one, and they generally support Palestine, who has promised to push the Jews into the sea, for another.

IMHO, Armegeddon will be fought between those who follow the God of Abraham, US, UK, Israel, against those who don't...Muslims, Atheists, US Media, Third worlders, Democrat Party, United Nations, feminists, Wiccans, etc, etc.

I believe the Bible says all the world would make war against Israel for a reason...

I'm curious about why the Jewish community as a whole is still overwhelmingly liberal and Democratic. Makes no sense to me.

No, I'm not surprised about the Democrats, but I'm definitely surprised about Ron Paul.

This is NOT Ron Paul's first vote against support for Israel.

If this was yesterday, how did Condit, Bonior and McKinney vote, they were not elected in November?

as referenced at the start, this was an email so who knows how long it was floating out there before it got to dennisw. With reference to my previous post, this may be the vote that I remember Ron Paul (R, TX) making against Israel (but I don't have details handy at the moment).

I believe the majority of the Democrat Party is anti-semitic.

Then why are 80% of Jews still voting for them (and many are the Israel firsters posting right here)? Don't even try to tell me all the young ones vote (R). They don't even vote.
