Then why are 80% of Jews still voting for them (and many are the Israel firsters posting right here)? Most of the Jewish FReepers are Orthodox. They tend to be extremely religious and conservative in every way. Jews that vote Dem tend to be Reform or members of "might as well be Reform" Conservative synangogues.

I thought that at first too, but then you have the strange fact that most of them never post on any other topic except Israel... so maybe there is another category? (sort of like the whole town of religious NY State Jews that sold their vote en masse for Hillary)?

From the NY Post...
An aging man whose infamous fraud case sparked a pardon probe of Hillary and Bill Clinton pleaded guilty yesterday to swindling the government out of millions of dollars. Chaim Berger, 75, admitted in Manhattan federal court to helping the Rockland County town of New Square win massive federal funding through improperly obtained education grants. Four other men convicted in the scheme, including Berger's son Benjamin, made headlines a year ago when President Clinton drastically reduced their sentences in his final days in office.
The town of New Square had just voted overwhelmingly for Hillary Rodham Clinton in her Senate race, and federal probers are still trying to determine if there was a votes-for-clemency deal. Thanks to the Clinton clemencies, three of his co-defendants - Benjamin Berger, David Golstein and Kalmen Stern - have already been released to their homes or a halfway house. The fourth, Jacob Elbaum, is due to be let out in May. Unlike the other four, Berger had never gone to trial because he went to Israel for several years while authorities tried to force his extradition.

What's your point? See above post #43 for a mirror image of my point... I would not put it past many of the Israel Firsters here on FR to masquerade as conservatives, if a whole town of Conservative Ultra Orthodox Jews would vote for Hillary, to get Clinton pardon's.

Well, using your logic, we could hold all religious folks on FR in suspicion. Many Christian denominations have signed on with the "No war with Iraq" crew. Guess we should start wondering about them.
If you have an issue with Jewish FReepers, maybe you should take it up with JimRob. Let him know how suspicious you are of us. Sorry that you might not be around the next day to tell us how it went.

Oh yeah, every critic of Israel is automatically an anti-Semite.
Some apparently believe that. There are even people here who seem to think that anyone who criticizes the Israeli zealots who want to start a war by expelling all the Palestinians from the West Bank and Gaza are "anti-semites".

I've noticed.

I don't go whining to JimRob or the moderators all the time, like some people I know. If the fact that I pointed out the fallacy of your original argument bothers you... tough (that because Jewish Freepers are usually orthodox, they are therefore conservative in every way). Chew a while on New Square, NY (almost all ultra orthodox Jews, voting for Hillary).
Point of information: I called them Israel Firsters, not Jewish Freepers. There is a big difference.

The reps from Wisconsin, Michigan and Illinois have huge Islamic constituencies. (Americans, wake up to how this multiculturalism has wider implications than someone in a head scarf living next door to you.) The senators from the South have no such excuse, if you can call it that. It is amazing how people whine about the NRA lobby but completely ignore the Islamist lobby when it comes to influencing lawmakers. To them, wishing to overthrow America from within is nothing compared with a man trying to protect his own home.

Don't you mean Judea and Samaria? But what's in a name... I couldn't help myself...
I don't know about you, but my Jewish friends and co-workers sure will be shocked to find out that i'm an anti-Semite, let me tell you. I'm shocked myself!

Oh yeah, every critic of Israel is automatically an anti-Semite. Members of Yitzhak Shamir's cabinet openly called the first President Bush anti-semitic, when he criticized the constant building of illegal settlements and backed it up by with-holding a 10 Billion Loan Guarantee in 1991. Sound familiar?

If we have any posters who belong to the Satmar Hasadim they would be most emphatic on the difference.
Criticizing the actions of certain Israelis is not the same as criticizing Israel's right to exist or defend herself, let alone being "anti-semetic".

"The reps from Massachussets, Maryland, and Ohio have huge Catholic constituencies. (Americans, wake up to how this multiculturalism has wider implications than someone wearing a cross and beads living next door to you.)" could have easily been said by "Know Nothings" during the 19th Century.

(Religious prejudice really doesn't belong in this country.)

There is a difference. Virtually none of the people with the beads living next door in Massachusettes were trying to blow up anything, nor was their religion's official position to take over the world. Let's acknowledge some distinctions. The Koran is the only official canon of any religion that mandates world conquest. A full 100 million Muslims in the world -- cells of them here -- wish to destroy western civilization. Catholics were never a threat to America. Muslims are. Not all Muslims, but many Muslims.
