If Murrays' comments were misconstrued, what exactly were Lotts' comments? I am not a Lott fan, however, we lambaste this man for a comment believed to support segragation. Murrays' comments were not misconstured and speak for themselves. Remove Murray!

Where's the "apology" you refer to in your title?

Both Ratner and Murray apologizing. Will the media ruin their careers as they did Lott? Not holding my breath.

Your title is very misleading. Whatever it was that she did, it certainly was no apology.
Perhaps Admin Moderator should change the title on this post.

...draft Rep. Jennifer Dunn.... Perfect. From one clueless lady who praises foreigners who kill Americans of all sizes, to another clueless lady who support Americans who kill little Americans. Perfect.

" Murray Apologizes "
NOT THE STORY HEADLINE
Murray does not apologise anywhere in this article.
" Sen. Murray Defends Bin Laden Comments "
THIS IS THE ORIGINAL HEADLINE FROM FOXNEWS.

This was posted yesterday.
But, since I didn't respond yesterday ;-)
Did Murray say that Bin Ladin built day care centers?
Was that a true or false statement?
Did Murray say that Bin Ladin was a hero to "his people" because of humanitarian acts rather than terrorist acts?
Was that a true or false statement?
Did Murray say that the United States should follow Bin Ladin's example?
She needs to honestly answer these three questions, admit that she was misinformed, guilty of lying to high school students in an effort to turn them against United States policy.
Then she should resign from the United States Senate and apologize to the people of the United States for her statements that gave aid and comfort to the enemy
If she wants to apologize to Bin Ladin for misrepresenting his policy goals that is up to her. ;-)

Your headline is not just misleading; it is wrong. The headline to the article is "Murray Defends Remarks". That is roughly the opposite of apologizing, is it not?
To: Probus
I think the only thing she was sorry about was being recorded, much like Clinton was sorry for being caught...

Too Little...
Too Late...
In light of the wartime footing this nation finds itself on, and her position as an elected official, her obscene 'remarks' crossed the line into a naked, bald-faced, blatant effort to aid and comfort the enemy.
Resigning from her office is not nearly enough to balance the scales at this late point.
Arrest the bitch...

"She should know better than that -- [bin Laden] is public enemy No. 1 and is behind despicable things. To use him for effect is outrageous," said Josh Feit, editor of The Stranger, Seattle's alternative weekly paper. Wow! If you're attacked by The Stranger for left-wing idiocy, then you've really fallen off the cliff. The Stranger is in favor of workers controlling the means of production. Patty's been attacked as too-left-wing by communists!

Does anyone know how long Ms. murray has been in office and whether or not she ever had a chance to vote to send foreign aid to the countries that obl has "helped" so much? If so, it would be interesting to know how she voted. If yes, then she knows what she said is a lie. If no, then she voted against what she is calling for us to do.
things that make ya go hmmmm........

The problem with Patty Murray is not that she is a traitor, but that she is dumb as a box of rocks. Both O'Reilly and Hannity & Colmes covered this subject yesterday. So I e-mailed both shows with the following comment: Patty Murray has her terrorists mixed up. It is Hezbollah, not Osama bin Laden, that has actually been building and running schools, hospitals, etc. They spend about half their money on such charities, and the other half murdering Jews and others.
Her other factual stupidity is that the US, both directly and through the UN (where we pay more of the bills than any other nation) has provided far more aid throughout the Middle East, and in Lebanon and Afganistan in particular, than any of the terrorists, including Hezbollah.
Ordinary Americans who pay attention to the news are well aware of these facts. There is no excuse for a US Senator (for now) Patty Murray, getting these basic facts dead wrong. She isn't smart enough for competent anti-Americanism. She also isn't smart enough to belong in Congress.
